  1. Ideally it would be saved every time anything is changed. You do this basically everywhere else.

    At the very least, navigating away from it should not trigger the browser "do you want to leave these changes" dialogue if we're staying withing TC, but should trigger a TC dialogue with the option to Save right then and there - asking to cancel the browser dialog and then go to the Save button is super annoying.

  2. This would work for something like "circle time", or if you have, for example, a PM class of K-preparation. Ideally you would establish your groups, how often they ocur, plan what will be happening there - which will include a mixture of curriculum lessons and non curriculum themes which should be write in (or maybe a non school wide but teacher specific curriculum "area"). Then you mark attendance for your small group and any associated curriculum lessons appear as presented / introduced. All activity associated with said group / circle time will then appear in each of the children's timelines,…

    1. In the Profile, a section to select the person's desired pronouns in addition to sex/gender. This is relevant at our school for a number of students, parents, and staff members. In many cases, especially for the children, their biological sex is required information but the child's pronouns my be different.
    2. Also in the profile, an option to indicate that permission forms have been signed. we currently use the notes section to say which students may use school-provided sunscreen, get school lunch, go on field trips, or who has signed the photo waiver, but our notes section is getting cluttered up…

  4. A PIN number for authorized adults to do distant drop off so that the school can keep track of exactly who is picking up and dropping off a student. One time use PIN numbers also for Emergency pick ups

  5. The online application offers the current session as well as the future sessions - we are full this year and limited next year so I would like to block the current session and summer session from applications.

  6. Be able to pull all parent dropoff PINs into a report, preferably an excel or .csv format. It could even just be a column added to the file you receive when you click the "Download" button on the Parent Directory page.

  9. Is it possible to have a setting so that staff can be Non-Teaching Staff and have access to the registers for certain classrooms and appear to parents, but not to change any of the lesson details or view parent details.

  10. In the daily attendance notes section, please give us the option to NOT have the notes sent to parents. We like to use this section to communicate absences to our teachers and would love to have the notes STOP going to the parents.

    A former employee created a second classroom with different lessons than the main classroom. That employee left, and students remain. I would like to merge the lessons that are similar from the former employee's TC classroom with the main classroom lessons. How? I've checked the FAQ but can only move lessons within one classroom, not from one to another. Help.

  12. Much like the Lessons by Area, and Lessons over Time reports, it would be helpful to be able to generate a report of how many photos of each child have been sent for a particular time period.

  15. In preparation for state licensing inspection, our school will be required to provide our diaper logs.

    We are currently using TC's Daily Tracking feature to note diaper changes. It would be beneficial is there was a way to print a full report of each child's diaper/toileting information for an X period of time to show the state inspector.

    Being able to pull a report for all children in a classroom for just diapering/toileting for a specific date range would eliminate using TC for parent communication while still having to use paper and pen to communicate and meet state inspection requirements.

  16. Have you considered creating the capability for collecting tuition through Transparent? Could you partner with another website to create that capability? How do other schools handle invoicing and tuition management?

  19. Daily dashboard that admins can view for all daily notes left by parents or staff via the drop off/attendance notes function.

    This way when it's dismissal time, admins can simply view notes dashboard to see playdate, pick up and other instructions.
