Archive People from Search Bar
I would like a way to be able to archive former students and parents from the search bar. It's exhausting to have to sort through 6 years of names everytime I search. At the very least the currently enrolled students should be sorted to the top.

Schedule Send Announcement
Hello Transparent Classroom Team,
I’d like to suggest a feature that would be very helpful for administrators — the ability to schedule a note or announcement to be sent at a later time or date.
This would allow admins to prepare messages in advance (for example, reminders, upcoming events, or classroom updates) and have them automatically delivered at a scheduled time. It would be especially useful for managing communication flow and ensuring timely parent engagement, without needing to log in and send messages manually.

Add children's age to the excel sheet
When downloading the children information into an excel sheet the ages are not included. It's very helpful to have their ages there.

Progress and Plan, names!
progress and plan section - make the names at the top scroll down as you scroll. I have tried on both chrome and safari and this feature is not working...I'm not sure if it is a bug or just the website design!

Tech Support Contact
We need a way of contacting someone for Tech Support. We have account issues in which parents are associated with more than 1 school so they cannot sign in, receive emails, etc from the second school. A phone number, or email for help would be an amazing feature

Drop Off Notes - From Parents
Hello Transparent Classroom Team,
I would like to suggest a feature that would greatly enhance communication between parents and teachers, particularly in our infant classrooms. The idea is to create a section in the parent portal where parents can enter “Drop-Off Notes” for each day.
This feature would allow parents to share important information about their child’s morning, including:
When the child last ate and how much
When the child woke up and the quality of their sleep
Any recent medical updates (e.g., shots, minor illnesses)
Additional context that could help staff provide the best care (e.g., a parent traveling,…

overview of the week now and in future books days/half days
overview of the week: we would love to see the whole week how kids are registered now and in future (if waiting list request). so seeing in a excel every weekday if a child is here morning, lunch and/or afternoon. so for each day 3 layers. in this way so see/calculate how many kids you have mornings, for luch and afternoons now and in future for every month a new sheet. the same with the attendace report in the end of the month if a child was attending or not or even additional and not expected, so additional costs need…

teacher time sheet/logs
While we have students covered with many functions, not sure why teachers are not allowed to log their time daily? The students attendance can be deployed using the same concept and approach (each teacher has sign-in/sign-out time), while reporting can be only conducted by the admin (business owner). That could be the teachers' time sheets. With a little control not to allow the teacher to make any change once the data is entered.
Of course, every teacher can only be allowed to enter his/her own time sheet.

All categories of attendance listed on attendance home screen
On the attendance home page, include not just "Present" and "Absent" but also include who "Left Early" who was "Tardy." This way it's a "one stop shop."

Different profiles and assignments
Hi!
We have several interns and teachers in training at our school, and we would like them to use Transparent Classroom.
However, they should only be able to fill in information and observations, not edit or change the curriculum.
Is it possible to assign different permission levels or roles to users, restricting curriculum editing to administrators only?

Upload batches of individual reports into Google Drive
I would love to be able to upload conference reports and other data directly into a cloud drive, specifically Google Drive.
It would be even better if we could download multiple selected or all conference reports as a batch of individual files, rather than downloading/uploading each separately
