An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Allison! I can see why that would be helpful. Have you checked out our "Child Lesson Proficiency Over Time" report? On this report you can select an individual child and a date range to see all the lessons a child has been tagged with along with the date and the level of progress. You can find it by going to [Reports].

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Clare,
You can now bulk download photos! Additionally, parents can bulk download any photos that have been shared with them on their child's profile.
Go to [Photos] > [Download All] > [Prepare for Download] > [Download].
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Cheers!
An error occurred while saving the comment This makes sense. For the immediate future, if someone needs this please reach out to me (Jeremy) directly. I can give you access to your pictures from last year manually.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Patty,
You can now bulk download photos: Go to [Photos] > [Download All] > [Prepare for Download] > [Download].
However, if you want to delete a photo, you still have to do that individually.
Cheers.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi! You can definitely do this right now. If you go to the [Children] page you will see three columns with headings: Sort By, Age, and Parents. Next to 'sort by' and 'parents' you will see some arrows. If you click on either of those headings you will get a dropdown menu with different options you can view. Under the "parents" dropdown menu you can choose from a variety of options, including, but not limited to, parents, approved adults, emergency contacts, allergies, and birthdays. You can print any of these lists by using your keyboard shortcuts (Command+p on a mac, or Control+p on a PC).

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Libby, et al.,
Each observation you make is date stamped, regardless of whether that observation is made from the activity page or the progress and plan page. You can also mark a child introduced (or other scales) multiple times and it will record the date for each one. If you right click on a square on the progress and plan page for a child with a particular lesson and select the ellipsis (...), you will see a popup with all the observations that have been recorded for that child with that lesson. If you look to the bottom left of each comment you will see when it was entered and by whom. As always, feel free to contact us if you have any questions about this.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Libby, your school can actually change the labels for each level separately. An admin at your school could easily add a re-introduction option by going to Admin > Lesson Sets > Next to your lesson set, clicking "Settings" > Check the box marked "Customize Proficiency Scales". You can email us at info@transparentclassroom.com if you try that and have any questions.

An error occurred while saving the comment A current work around for this is to create an area in your lesson set called "Observations". You can add groups to the area, such as: Behavioral Observations, and Social and Emotional Observations, even Teacher Notes. These will then become #s you can use to tag those anecdotal notes on the Activity page. Even better, you can sort and view those notes by going to the "lesson" page for that #, or right clicking and selecting the ellipsis (...) on the progress and plan page.

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for the feedback! We will keep this feature in mind as an improvement to the app.
There is an interim solution. If you're an admin at your school, you can change the interval time under [Admin] > [School Settings] when accessing Transparent Classroom on the web.
Let us know how you're using the Concentration feature! We would love to hear feedback about how you're using it and what you hope to get out of it. Reach out to us at info@transparentclassroom.com.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi, I just wanted to let you all know a work-around for adding videos to Transparent Classroom. Although we don't support videos yet, but if you have a YouTube channel, this is how to embed a video in TC.
The first case is when you want to share a video of a child with the parents:
First, go to the child’s page and click on “Conference Reports”, then “Add Document”. Name the document “Child’s Videos”. Then in the body of the document, use the YouTube button to get the formatting, and copy in the link to their video. If you’re concerned about privacy, there is a setting for videos in YouTube called “unlisted” – meaning, only people who have the link can view the video.
The second case is when you wants to add a video to a lesson description. The formatting is exactly the same, but the current lesson editor doesn’t have the YouTube button so just type in "youtube. (link)". The space after the period and before the link is very important.
Please feel free to email us if you have any questions about this.

An error occurred while saving the comment It's coming! But no ETA yet. We are actively working on it. Best guess would be a couple months.

An error occurred while saving the comment There is a work around for this. You can always mark the lesson as given, and then when it pops up on the bottom (in the activity part of the screen), you can then delete it. That is exactly the same as unplanning it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Sarah,
Thanks for sharing this idea! Can you say more about what you'd want exactly? Would a simple to-do list on the side be sufficient? Would you want them to be "cards" like the lessons, where you could move them around from day to day?

An error occurred while saving the comment You can do this today by writing in the activity page. You can mark any of these types of notes as "private" and if you like, you could add a lesson called "Journal", which would help you find these notes later.

An error occurred while saving the comment Manuela, if you want to interact like this with the lessons, why not have a Mathematics (en) and a Mathematics (de) area? That would achieve the same thing, I think...

An error occurred while saving the comment You can do this today quite quickly.
Go to [Photos] > [Upload], then upload all your photos in bulk to each classroom.
For each classroom, tag each photo with the name of the child
For each child, go to their profile page and click on their profile picture to choose the tagged photo -

An error occurred while saving the comment I have some questions about this. Are you wanting to change the lesson plan? Or something else? Are you wanting to give the lesson plan a header that includes the teachers name & the current week? Also, we have several lesson plans formats, are you inquiring about the child boxes format, weekly format, or by day format?

Hi Tiffany,
Great question! We are currently developing some features that will allow staff members to screen children from the Attendance page and parents to answer screening questions from their own devices, that we hope to release soon. For updates about these features you can make sure that you are signed up for our update emails by going into your profile and checking the box next to "Transparent Classroom product updates" > [Save].
