  1. Currently, there is not an option to add a parent e-signature on the application form. We are required to have a signature. It would be great for this button to be added so that we can add it to our form.

  2. As is currently stands, you can only post one picture per activity report. However, it is useful at times to have three photos grouped for one observation in the activity feed. I.e. "Child shows ability to carry tray to table, do work, reset tray and return tray to shelf" with 1 photo of the child carrying the tray, 1 photo of them working and 1 photo of them returning the tray all in one post rather than creating 3 separate posts. This is especially important in Toddler where complete work cycles are a big challenge. We need the ability to…

  3. Can presentations from the each plane be available to allow for accurate record keeping to take place for students who cross over between planes. For example some students in the class (i.e. 3-6) may be completing lessons from the next plane (6-12 years) but currently we can't find a way of recording this information if they are still enrolled in a lesson set.

  4. It would be nice to see which teacher has planned the other presentations on "lessons planned" an at what time they are planning to present it. We wright the plan day by day on a board so that the students can plan their day. Then it would make it a lot easier if we could see the time AND which teacher that is going to present the exact presentation. A color koding system or a letter or something would help a lot!

  5. We are required to report number of children Complete, Conditional, Out of Compliance or Exempt by November 1 each year with WA DOH.
    I have just started putting our vaccination records into TC after using Childcare Manager for many years. How can I print out the report in a useful manner? How can I select EXEMPT for any of the vaccines?
    Since entering all the dates is a long process I want to use just one database to manage the info. And can parents update these records?
    Do I need to create a report that parents can use to enter…

  6. While the report building options for conferences are great, from an administrative side, there is the need to generate different types of reports and export data. The ability to export detailed attendance data for all students at once for example. Or to create printable class lists that can be formatted with a logo, and different headers. Even adding the ability to add columns of information to a screen view before exporting would be awesome. We are looking forward to the classroom aspects of Transparent Classroom, and if the administrative side of things comes along, it could be a full-fledged school…

  9. Currently, saving a new Page makes it immediately visible to all parents. It would be nice to be able to create and edit a page privately. Once all content is ready and proofread, the creator can explicitly choose to publish it to general availability.

  10. It would useful for teachers to have access to a directory of available forms that can be assigned to students. This would allow teachers to view forms before assigning them to a student/class.

  11. I currently use Common Curriculum's Unit Planner feature, but I would like to integrate it into TC. In Elementary we have projects that are made up of several, or dozen, lessons/ project parts that follow a sequence. I would like to plan units over the year that have lessons in them so I can schedule out the time needed to plan the unit.

I would like to create a form for parents to use to sign up for our afterschool classes, but I don't want to "assign" it to every parent because then if they choose not to sign up, they either have to send back a form saying "no" or it just lingers in their to-do until I delete it. Is there a way to create a form that I then apply to a page, where I can direct parents who want to sign up?

    This would also be helpful to have a form that can be reused to update contact information,…

  14. It would be great if we could change the level of proficiency while we're writing comments on the Conference Report! That way we wouldn't have to go back into Activity/Plan Progress, refresh data, regenerate, etc. if we find we've forgotten to update at any point.

  15. We are currently using the alignment of the Montessori curriculum to the Common Core standards. We would like to extend that to the preK standards as Universal PreK is growing we are needing to demonstrate how our program compares to national standards.

Right now , each of the cell under progress and plan is only allowed us to rated the children according to different ratings . it would be nice if we can get an extra comment box for each cell, for us to type in more details. The comment box would be similar idea as the Excel Sheet in microsoft. It only shown when the cursor goes near to the particular cell.

  17. After a child has been here for years there are many reports to sift through to find the current one (usually on the bottom but not always and harder to see on a phone to tablet). We'd love it if they were listed under school year or at the very least have the newest on top. Thanks for all you do!

  18. PLEASE show more than 1 week in the child's Meeting Page!!
    Currently I have weekly conferences with each student, which produce a "to do" list of lessons and follow-ups. Some lessons, however, I have already anticipated, at which point I put them "on deck" on the following week's Lesson Plan. I can only see this info on that page, which requires that I constantly click back and forth between weeks, lesson by lesson, to see where they are. And I must repeat this over and over with every child!
    Having 2 weeks (or more) on the child's Meeting Page would…

  19. When you hover over a picture you can toggle the picture into a portfolio or not. It would be great to have an option to toggle that picture to public. We have our pictures defaulted to private so we can control how many go out and who sees what. We would like to be able to toggle them easily to public without multiple clicks. Thanks!

  20. Would love for the lesson reference sheet to include lessons that the child has completed in a previous class, so that if they are moved over to a new class their most recent lessons can still be viewed. We find this feature really helpful for preparing for parent chats.
