Meeting Notes Efficiency
Hello,
Our school uses transparent classroom for our worklists every week and there are a couple small changes that would drastically improve how much time it takes to do this four our teachers.
1. If you could have an option to print all meeting notes or a report that we could download and then print that would have every child's meeting notes with their lessons on separate pages. Right now, our teachers have to go to children>'child'>meeting notes and then 'switch child' 30 times to individually print every worklist. It would be so much quicker to have a 'print all'…4 votes -

Messaging parents: We still have to keep brightwheel, because we need a good messaging system with the parents. It is great to be able to message a parent, and have the teacher, assistant, and admin all be able to see the message and answer.

Admissions and billing
Is there any chance you would create a modular that offered admissions management and billing? We have been using TC for many years and everything you create is so intuitive. We are currently using FinalSite and it is anything but intuitive! If you ever think about moving in that direction, I'd be happy to offer you input!

Who signed in/out child
Have attendance notated which staff member signed them in and out that day. This way you can always see who signed in/out the child whether its parents or teachers.

Allow pictures to be moved from one classroom to another.
We have some students who spend the morning in one class, and Extended Day in another. If I take a picture of a child from the other classroom through the app, I cannot tag the child.
3 votesThis is a good idea. It’s just a matter of prioritization. For now you can work around it by downloading the image and uploading it in the other classroom.

Spanish flag
Would it be possible to add a "SP" flag for ¨Spanish¨ to the record keeping/lesson planning aspect to Transparent Classroom? Our classroom is bilingual and I'd like to be able to track which lessons I give in Spanish. Adding the option would be much faster than entering in all the lessons in Spanish.

Add notes to weekly plan
As an elementary guide, my students are often working on projects that need a bit of support but don't easily fit into any existing lessons (or lessons I want to add to my comprehensive list). I'd like to be able to add notes to my weekly lesson plan before I print it so that I can add reminders about these projects without entering them as lessons.

Share or transfer photographs between classrooms
Right now if a teacher takes a photograph, there is not an option to transfer that photo into another teacher's classroom or to tag a child from another classroom.

adding specific observations to conference report
we would like to make a conference report that has only specific info in specific areas;
ie Language: reading assessment, writing assessment, spelling
math: operations, word problems, algebra
and give it a rubrics and have this auto generated from lessons rather than manual input.3 votes -

Show student address on info page of student profile. Currently the only way I can find to access this/see it is to open a form that they've filled out.

Make classrooms assignable to sessions--would like to only see current sessions of classrooms on the homepage, as well as be able to assign a classroom to a specific session

Add ability to have extensions option in progress tracking
If you were able to have extension as an option alongside mastered, practiced, needs practice, etc. it would help bring much clarity to a students progress to both parents and teachers alike.

Progress & Plan page stays OPEN OR COLLAPSED, as you last left it! Not defaulted as all collapsed!!
When planning, and especially when toggling between subject areas on the Progress&Plan page, I must see ALL lesson groups OPEN. However, sometimes I do want certain sections/lessons collapsed, but that should be an OPTION, NOT the default!!
And I'd like my preferences to be remembered the next time I open it so I don't have to redo it every time I get on that page!!
As the students progress during the year, the collapsed lesson groups will change, so Progress & Plan should maintain the page setup next time I open it, no matter how I left it.

I would like to request that attendance can be sorted by age or provide several options such as age or date of birth. Thank you!

Unexcused and Excused Tardies
Please make another option to separate excused and unexcused tardies. So we can total those up on the attendance reports instead of those all being lumped together.

Include the information on the lesson in the email instead of parents having to click on a link for it
If a teacher tags a lesson, it would be great if you could include the information on that lesson in the email (instead of parents having to click on the link and go into the website to get this). Most of our parents didn't even realize they could click on lessons to get more info.
It's a minor change, but I feel this change would really get parents to feel they better understand what's happening in the classroom.

Show "Accepted" forms in the whole class overview
You can see "Accepted" forms only in each student's profile. It would be helpful to see "Accepted" forms in the overview of the whole class when you click on "Forms".

Reports: Child Lessons By Area- Option to See the Individual Lessons/Works Recorded when Hovering Over the Number.
When I'm on the Child Lessons by Area page I can see how many lessons or works a child did in each area of the classroom in the table of shaded boxes. Also, I can hover my cursor over the box that says the number of lessons/observations in a given area and a text box pops up. But now, that box just repeats the number ("6 observations). Instead of just repeating the number, could the text box that pops up list the specific lessons/observations/works that were logged and are being used to populate the number in the box? (So instead…
