  2. Hello!
    I suggest including the ability to add line breaks in the observation/presentation section. I use this as a weekly "blog' for parents and it is difficult to make look professional without the use of line breaks.

  3. In SA we received unique student id's from our Education Department. In TC you can enter a student number which we populate with our education departments number. It would be nice to be able to pull that number through into conference reports

As Transparent Classroom is not a one-stop platform to manage the administrative task load of running a school, opening the software up to integrate with apps like project management tools (Asana, etc..) or integrations like Zapier would make overall management much easier and workflow more organized! Thanks!

  6. When writing in the conference reports - it seems pretty easy to mistakenly click on the Publish Button rather than the Edit button. Since the parents immediately get an email and link to see the conference report, it would be great if the Publish button was a two step process - so that you wouldn't mistakenly Publish the report when it's not ready.

  8. In the era of COVID-19, we are required to ask certain questions and take temperatures of children before in-person teaching. Is there a way that a simple, bulleted checklist of questions and the temperature check (from Daily Tracking) can be incorporated together with the Parent Sign-in or something similar so that faculty/staff can quickly and efficiently ask the questions and take the temperatures of children in the morning during carpool?

  9. I am taking over other's teacher's class. there are more than 600 untagged photos. Could you please add the function that I can choose all and delete them all. Right now I can only chose one and delete one. thanks

  10. Add an extra "Arrival" of "Check-in" Time to the Distance Dropoff feature. Distance dropoff is fantastic for allowing parents to conduct COVID screening and share notes with classroom prior to leaving home; however, we need to record the actual drop-off time when the child arrives and we verify the screening.

  12. An option for a child to be listed under their "preferred" name. Some children use their middle names, some use nicknames, etc. I would love to have a child's profile include their given name, but have their name appear as their preferred name.

    Example: John Jacob Smith goes by his middle name. Instead of his name appearing as John Smith, have the option of using his "preferred" name of Jacob Smith, but still have his actual profile say John Jacob Smith. Does that make sense?

  14. It would be extremely helpful to have a second "Save" button available at the top of a student's profile (possibly next to the "Edit" and "Publish" buttons?). There are many times when just a quick edit is necessary, and scrolling all the way to the bottom to hit save just adds to the time.

  16. Add an "Upload" button to online application inputs, same as upload functionality in normal forms. This would allow parents to complete linked .PDF files as supplemental pieces of the application (recommendations, etc) and upload them directly to the application.

  17. When on the daily tracking page, I think it would be INCREDIBLY helpful to allow teachers to set a time while recording the details of each event. Example: go to daily tracking, click on AM Snack, set time at top of page that AM snack was eaten (can set one time for all children or specific times for each child), record amount each child ate. This would be a much more efficient way of recording information after the time that the event has occurred. If teachers are unable to record the details at the exact time of the event,…

  18. Create an “Onboard Date” (features and billing begins) and “The Child’s First Day” (for record keeping purposes). I get why some of the features are not enabled until the child's first day because we are not paying for those features yet. However, it would be really nice if there was a way to fully onboard the child earlier leading up to the child's first day. Currently, we have to go change the child's first day to be able to enable all of these features and then our TC records do not accurately reflect the child's first day unless we manually…
