Assign lessons to an assistant
One thing my teachers want to be able to do is assign lessons to their assistant, and have it show up on the lesson plan as assigned to the assistant. For example, they might want to have "Ms Lauren" teach a bead bar addition lesson to Bobby, Sally, and Joey on Tuesday. They want that to show up as a separate box on the classroom lesson plan, clearly designated to Ms Lauren. I'm thinking that this is sort of the opposite of the "blue flag" lesson plans. Blue flags designate lessons assigned by other teachers for a child. Instead, we…

We would like to note on a student's profile if they receive any special/additional services.
We would like to note on a student's profile if they receive any special/additional services. Like an IEP tab, 504 or Spec Ed tab on the child's profile page. Adding this to the notes section will not be confidential and this information needs to be. If there was a feature to sort students by IEP that would be extremely helpful to us.

make the attendance roster alphabetical by last names instead of first names, or at least to give an option of customization.

Parents should be able to contact each other through TC
Parents should be able to click on another parent's name and email them (without necessarily seeing their email info)

Bilingual lesson set: view one language at a time
In bilingual classrooms, the lesson set is twice as long, with entries for both languages right next to each other. It would be nice if that set could be filtered per language, to make batch editing faster.
As in: I want to see what happens in both language, but I want to enter data only ever in one language. So if I want to edit multiple rows at once, I'd want to only see my language.
In pictures, this is what the full set could look like:

Allow parents to edit forms after they are accepted
Allow parents to be able to access and edit previously submitted forms about their child when they need to update information - food preferences, immunization records, attendance at a workshop, etc. Send the school a new notification when the form gets updated and resubmitted.

add a feature to the TC App where you can sign in/sign out from your iPhone.
Many of our children leave from the playground at the end of the day. Our signal is week when reaching our laptops from the playground. Also, who wants to have their laptops outside with rampant children?

Progress & Plan page stays OPEN OR COLLAPSED, as you last left it! Not defaulted as all collapsed!!
When planning, and especially when toggling between subject areas on the Progress&Plan page, I must see ALL lesson groups OPEN. However, sometimes I do want certain sections/lessons collapsed, but that should be an OPTION, NOT the default!!
And I'd like my preferences to be remembered the next time I open it so I don't have to redo it every time I get on that page!!
As the students progress during the year, the collapsed lesson groups will change, so Progress & Plan should maintain the page setup next time I open it, no matter how I left it.
It is…3 votesLooks like our previous fix was to remember this while on the progress & plan page, even if you were switching between areas. We have not implemented the ability to remember this between visits.

Allow uploading photos in bulk
There needs to be a way to upload profile pictures in bulk, assigning them by files named by student name, SSID, or other criteria.

Allow a log in for "data collection" which shows how we have used TC but does not allow user to edit content.
I expect to have the data collection team from UW visit us this fall and they will need to see several aspects of Transparent Classroom to see how we individualize the curriculum and communicate with parents. I think the best way is to have a log in for them instead of logging in as a teacher or admin since we don't want to risk having accidental edits. Would like to have a View The Site option.

Can you say more? Where do you want to sort by years in the classroom / school? We could easily allow sorting by grade, perhaps that would work for you? We already allow this on Progress & Plan…

Auto Plan
I would like to be able to set a sequence of lessons within and across areas of the curriculum. In this way when I mark a lesson as presented or practiced transparent classroom will then automatically plan the lesson(s) I have sequenced to come next.

Add ability to have extensions option in progress tracking
If you were able to have extension as an option alongside mastered, practiced, needs practice, etc. it would help bring much clarity to a students progress to both parents and teachers alike.

Add a parent e-signature feature to Conference Reports.
Add a parent e-signature feature to Conference Reports. This way parents have to confirm they received a conference or incident report. It is also easier for teachers to input information specifically for an incident report without the parent being able to edit in (as they would in a form).

Add "plan" to Activity page to make planning easier
On the Activity page, you could type what was just presented:
@stephanie mastered #numberrods
and in the same box add what needs to be presented next:
@stephanie plan #spindlebox
so it would look like this:
@stephanie mastered #numberrods plan#spindlebox
and then the little flag appears in the progress and plan grid

Assign Multiple forms to one child.
We can now assign a form to many children, but if a new student starts the program and needs all the forms assigned to them at once, it takes time to individually assign each form. Rather, I propose check boxes be added to the design forms window (in the same way as they are currently next to each child in the "children" window) such that multiple forms could be selected and assigned in bulk to a single child. Alternatively, an additional box could be added to the current bulk form assignment interface such that more than one form can be…
