add "login as" in the teacher's view.
Just add the function in the teacher's view, not only Admin view. As a teacher, I need to see what parents see.

let parents see the same "photos" menu which teachers upload photos (left section).
You can just insert "photos" menu in the parents' view page. I think this is simple because the menu is already in the system.
when a parent click his child's name, he could see his own child's photos and activity lessons.... attendance...all the information are sorted by child. In the page, he would not see other children's photos so he can focus on his child. ( you don't have to change this child page)
** If the parent click "photos" in the left section, he also see all photos of the class. so he could get more information about the…

Be able to add in extra curricular activities, lessons and Unit studies
I would like to be able to add in extra curricular activities such as sports, going outs and field-trip in the weekly plan. As it is nice to see everything at a glance, could you also make it so that student lead interest and projects (and what they plan to do) can be added in.
Otherwise things need to be recorded in two different places.
Thank you.

Add a Toddler cubbie checklist
I would like to quickly check off items--and quantities of them--that parents need to bring to school to replenish the child's cubbie items, including:
Pull-Ups
Blanket
Fitted Sheet
2x2" Headshot
4x6" Family Photo
Long-Sleeved Shirt
Short-Sleeved Shirt
Shorts
Pants
Underwear (Cotton Training Pants)

When starting to use Transparent Classroom have a way to indicate lessons given in the past or mastery achieved, w/o it looking like now
I'm starting to use this awesome product, and I find myself inputting lessons given prior to when I used it, or activities which were mastered previously, just so that it looks "right" to me when I look at progress and planning. When I run reports, which I have to turn in to administration, it looks like everything happened just now. I guess I could manually go in and change the dates, but it would be nice if there were an option which would indicate prior knowledge.
4 votesWe are working on adding this functionality. In the meantime, feel free to record the times when you started and stopped entering lessons from the past. You can then shoot us an email and we can change the dates just for those presentations for you.

Adding A Subject Area Grid to Lesson Planning by day
I am new to Transparent Classroom and my old paper record keeping system had a grid with Monday through Friday as headings across the top, but along the sides there were all the subjects from Art to Music. This allowed me to make sure I was giving a balanced number of lessons in each area of the classroom.
Right now when I use "By Day" under Lesson Plan I feel lost because there is not delineation between subject area in each day. It sort of automatically puts lessons in order by subject in the queue, but once on the actual…

Upload whole photo albums
I'd like to be able to upload a whole day/album's worth of photos at once, instead of having to click each one individually.

Move children's records between schools
Is this already possible? I have a new student who I think is coming from another school with TC. Can I automatically move over his records to my classroom?
Thanks!

Reading Mode
When using an iPad it would be nice to have a "reading" only mode so that when we scroll down we dont accidentally click on a lesson or change the status of a lesson. I was just trying to look through what all the kids are doing (I'm taking over a class and learning this new system) and any time I scrolled I accidentally clicked on multiple lessons and had to go back and undo a few of them. Thanks for allowing us to give feedback :)

Photographs
Sorting the photographs into Albums (of each child) on the photo page would be extremely helpful. It is also nice to have an area below/beside the photo to write about it.

have the ability to print all of a child's licensing forms at once instead of one at a time
We still need paper copies of all forms in student folders. It takes too long to do it one by one...

Could you add a notes section to the planning page
could we have a notes section in the lesson planning area - sometimes I want to give a "lesson" that is not an album lesson (e.g. making tea) and I do not want to add it to lessons because I do not want it to appear for the whole school

Parent FAQ
As a Parent, I went to the FAQ to get some basic help, but it seems like the FAQ is all for the school or teachers who run Transparent Classroom

Sign in multiple children at once
For parents who bring multiple children (siblings, cousins, or just carpool friends) it would be nice if they could sign once for all children.
Possibly, after they choose one child, then "drop off" or "pick up," it could list all other children that adult is allowed to pick up, and ask "Would you also like to drop off/pick up these children?" The parent could tap any other children who are with them that day, then sign once for all of them.

Flexibility in changing the date
It would be helpful when entering on the Progress/Plan page, that if need be, the date could be changed.

Add group planning unrelated to children
As a primary guide I plan not only for individual children, but for general groups that I can do at any time, with any children. And I would like a record of when and what I do in these groups, but I don't want to track this in relation to the individual children that may join my groups. During the last year of beginning to use TC I have printed out my lesson plans and then just added this group information by hand. However I've been transitioning to only using the iPad. Somehow I think it would be possible for…

Class standards view
Progress + plan currently shows a grid of lessons x children. There should be a new page that shows standard/lessons x children.
It should show all the standards, with rows under each for the lesson that maps to that standard. The grid should show the children's proficiency in the mapped levels across the classroom.
To make this work, we might also need to filter standards by grade groups.
