Planned absences - without needing to go into each individual day.
If we know a child will miss several days it would be nice to be able to input that information without going into each day individually.

Calendar Feature for Notification of Events
We would love to have a calendar feature that we could use internally among the staff or externally with enrolled parents, by selecting what groups or individuals should see each entry. This would be helpful to remind staff when we have visitors coming, staff or level meetings planned, staff availability/schedule changes, etc. The parents could see things such as school community events, deadline reminders, in-service days or holiday breaks, parent education events, etc. I would also love to have the option to place reminders visible to just me or just me and my team. Sort of like having a google…

Enhanced app usage
I'd love for the app to have all of the usability and content that the website does. It would be much more convenient to do it all in one place. :)

That teachers be able to tab between different student's portfolios.
When teachers are preparing to generate progress reports it would be nice to tab quickly through the whole classes portfolios without going back to the children page and selecting a new child. I am suggesting an arrow that takes the user from one child's portfolio to the next child's portfolio in the class.

Have a way to keep track of the lessons given by week.
It would be nice to have a calendar view that records the lessons from the previous week on the days that they were given, and you could click on it to see the children that were in the lesson. This would be essentially the same template as the "by day" lesson planning view, but ihe data wouldn't go away after the lesson had been presented.

Tracking of Expiration Dates on Health Forms and the Ability to Send Notifications to Parents Prior to Health Form Expiration.
If you could add a feature to track when children's health forms are expiring and send an automatic notification to parents a month prior to expiration and also a week prior. It would also be helpful to have a way to view all children's health form expiration dates on one page for ease of access.

Rearrange Report Templates
Once various conference report templates have been generated for a school, it would be helpful if an admin could re-order them on the drop down list to make it easier for teachers to locate the appropriate one for their grade level.

tagging children and lessons from the app.
It would be beneficial is the iphone app let you tag children and lessons in the pictures.
Also attendance from the app would be helpful to. I can't use that part of TC because I have no computer in my classroom.20 votes -
Make a way to rotate photos with only one-click
Currently, I can only rotate a photo 90 degrees clockwise at a time. This process is so slow that sometimes I end up clicking "rotate' one time too many and have to start over again. Could you add some more choices for rotation, such as "180 degrees clockwise" and "180degrees counterclockwise" to make this process faster?

Add more level to the evaluation scale
I want to suggest to add more levels to the evaluation scale. Current evaluation scale has only 6 levels. However, our education system (Latvia) uses scale from 1 to 10, thus we need scale with 10 levels.

Notification of Changes to Parent Contact Information
It is VERY important to us to have the most up-to-date contact information for our parents, and to be sure we update it in all our record-keeping systems. The Admin->Changes page is not easy to search or determine what specific change was made. I would like to have either an email notification to a school administrator, or some other easy way to see any time a parent makes changes to their phone number or email address.

Progress Report comments
Allow for report comments that import easily from one term to the next. For example; have a fall comment box, then a winter, then a spring, where by the end of the year the parent could read all the comments on the report easily. This would also allow for admin, especially district admin who do not know TC, to see written out comments alongside of progress through content.

copy lessons from other schools
When setting up, it would be helpful to be able to look at lessons that other schools have added and import them into my classroom, or allow other schools to copy lessons I have created.

Name and date on printed lessons and color coding lessons by subject
I have been asked to inquire if it is possible to change the formatting of printed lessons so that the teachers can include their name and the "week of". Also we would like to know if it is possible to color code lessons by subject area. Thank you for your consideration of these requests and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Allow progress reports to continue to pull/update a record of student lessons even after the report has been generated.
This would allow teachers to begin writing report comments before the end of the year when students still have weeks of learning to report on.

It would be great if the head count for the children already signed in showed up on the attendance pages.

Bulk Remove Unneeded Forms
Every student has countless forms, requested, submitted, and approved. We only need a small subset, just want to keep the most recent, approved forms. We would prefer to not delete each form individually. How should we proceed?
Alternatively, could there be a way to archive past forms?

Could you add a notes section to the planning page
could we have a notes section in the lesson planning area - sometimes I want to give a "lesson" that is not an album lesson (e.g. making tea) and I do not want to add it to lessons because I do not want it to appear for the whole school

Organize and view students' lessons by gender, race, and family income level
Organize and view lessons (by area and total #) given to students by: race, gender, socioeconomic level so that we can see which students are getting what lessons and view by category to support equity.
