provide a way to keep qualitative observations separate from lesson entries.
I would love to be able to see the qualitative observations that I post (where no lesson is tagged) separately from the lesson list in a child's activity feed. For example, if I make a note that so-and-so is consistently not eating his or her lunch or so-and-so is frequently toe-walking - I'd like to keep those in a separate area.

Email the entire parent population at once
We would really appreciate the ability to send emails out to the entire parent population at once, rather than in batches. The system seems to be limited in the number of emails it can manage at a time.

On the profile page of a student or on the activity page for a class, (1) only view lessons related to one subject area at a time in order to better see what student(s) have been working on recently (or for a specific time period) in that area. AND (2) also be able to only view observations on profile/activity pages for a specific time period.

Lessons Given Report
A report of lessons that have been given with children underneath. Similar to the report of lesson reference sheet but instead of being organized by child, organized by lesson.

Edit Planned Lessons from Lesson Plan / Child Boxes page
It would be great if teachers could remove lessons from the child planned lessons boxes on the Lesson Plan / Child Boxes page without having to go into Progress & Plan or the By Day window.

Create a "Room Parent" level
It would be nice to designate some parents in each class as room parents, who are able to send messages to the rest of the class, without having all the ability of a guide or admin.

An area that is a private journal. So it does not show in lessons and not does it show to parents.
I like to be able to keep a journal of the day, the weather, how the day went, what songs I sung, what we did at circle time etc. I would love this to be in Transparent Classroom because I love this software!

Allow some forms to be submitted many times
My parents must fill out a medication release form each time they bring something for their child. If the child has multiple medications, I can only have them fill out one form through TC. I'd like them to be able to fill it out as many as necessary. In the mean time, I will create a link to a google form, but it would be nice to keep it in TC records if possible.

Include a to-do list within the Lesson Plan Page
There are many activities such as administer progress monitoring, collect follow up assignment, conduct specific observations, etc, that I'd love to be able to schedule within my Lesson Plan Page. As a public Montessori school, there are a number of state-mandated requirements that are not part of our Montessori scope of lessons that still need to be addressed and completed. Reminders of these expectations along side daily lesson plans would be so incredibly helpful when it comes to daily organization!

make saving sorted by age setting
We find sorting the children by age really useful. However as soon as you click onto another tab, the next time you go back to children it has returned to the default order.
It would be great if there was a setting that keeps children sorted by age.
Thank you!

Allow underlining and italics in text blocks.
"Rich Text" formatting is not supported in the note fields of Conference Reports at this time. But it would be nice to be able to underline a book title or do other basic formatting.

Allow a "note section" when applying forms in case we want to tell the parent the reason why the form is being sent to them

When a lesson is labeled as Needs more - it goes to the lesson plan with it's own tag
Needs more gets flagged for the lesson plan as a represent or POI (point of interest)

make it easy to see who is in a class on a daily basis
It would be useful to be able to have the same color coded graph that is used on the application screen on a day to day basis. The children at our school don't all come Monday - Friday, some come M,W,F, some T, Th etc, so being able to see at a glance how many children are in a particular class on a particular day would be very helpful. Also to be able to report on that would be good.

make it possible to input days for 2018/19
I would like to be able to input children's days for year 2018/19 as they don't always keep the same days from year to year.

Have an anecdotal observation log that is separate from the activity log
I like to use TC to record anecdotal observations, often about social-emotional behaviors or quotes from a child.
The problem is that when I record my lessons, the anecdotal observations get completely drowned in the the presentation posts!
For example, I might write "Tina spilled her milk on the floor, and Lisa offered to help and fetched her a towel without prompting."
But none of the other teachers (or myself later) will see this observation, because in the same day, there are 25 of:
"James was introduced to the timeline of life"
"James was introduced to the timeline of life"…78 votes -
Have a "Not Returning" option on the applications page
We are accepting applications for 2018/19 and it would be useful, in the applications page, to mark students who are not returning as such. At the moment those who aren't returning look the same as those who haven't replied.

Add a slideshow feature:
This can be either created in a folder or an option from the portfolio pages of each student.
Would like to have a classroom slideshow for prospective enrollment such as a preschool fair or open house.1 vote
