Add a class inventory feature for toddler, primary and elementary materials
t would be very helpful to have a list of toddler, primary and elementary core Montessori materials. Most schools do a classroom specific inventory at the end of each year. Transparent Classroom has the expertise and perspective to create an effective much-needed tool.

Add notes directly on Child page
It would be great to be able to add notes or observations about a particular student while looking at their page rather than needing to revert back to the activity tab to do so

parents to see "pages" on app
Can we add "Pages" to the parent app. This is where our school adds many of the important school info and is the main contact we have with our parents.

Admin only lesson editing
"Administrator only" role in lesson editing. I know for smaller and/or private schools, it probably would remain that teachers update their own lesson sets individually. But, in a public charter like us, it is very important for school/state accountability that we are all using the exact same lesson sets. Having admin control the lesson editing (or having that an option for each school to select who controls lesson editing) would allow us to say, "we all have the exact same lesson sets" and the outcomes for teaching from these sets should be similar OR you can choose and edit your…

Who chose the activity?
I would love to be able to mark if the activity I observe/record was chosen by the child or offered by the teacher (could be a checkbox).

Illness Log
When you update attendance with a student being sick or sent home sick, provide an additional option to log the type of illness/symptoms. This would be great if it that data was then able to generate an Illness Log Report (this is required by many states for licensing purposes).

Form notification sent to multiple people
Our schools use forms for reporting incidents and minor injuries.
I would like a notification to go to the parent, the child's teacher, and the head of the school. For injuries we want anyone that may have to respond to a parents concerns to be in the know.
I would like the ability to set this in each form.

Parent Sign In for All Classrooms
As Admin can look at "All Classrooms" in other areas, it would be wonderful for Parents to be able to sign-in on such a page. We are a small school with a Toddler and a Primary Classroom with just one tablet for signing in. It becomes confusing to parents to switch in between tabs (that are not labeled - as mentioned in another idea), especially when some are in a hurry. Thank you!

Add the option of tracking a child's Work Habits - their independence in activity and interest in certain areas of the environment.
Add the option of tracking 'Work Habits'. Whether their work choice was an #Independent Choice vs. #Directed Choice, whether they #PackedUpIndependently or #PackedUpWithHelp or #PackedUpAfterRemider. At the moment I have created my own lesson sets with these options, but it is crowding up my Lesson Plan and appears in the child's "Most Recent Lessons" as a result, which is kind of clunky.

Make follow-ups like lessons and show them on a calendar
Allow elementary teachers to "give a follow up" like a lesson with multiple steps and due dates, that can then viewed on a weekly or monthly calendar based on the due dates. It would also be helpful to have a calendar with lessons given and follow ups on a weekly or monthly calendar as well as on the "by child" view. Also allow elementary teachers to record a series of follow ups that can be customized and selected like a lesson.

allow teachers to enter their own unique lessons without being an administrator (only add to their classroom)
Our school is very large. We all have different training and we can't possibly load the program with all of our lessons. If each teacher could just add lessons to her own classroom (not touch anyone else's) it would be more accurate.

Announcement Text Box
Add an announcement text box that appears when parents drop off and pick up their child. This could be used to leave a little reminder like "Parent Ed Tonight!" or "Ms. Elizabeth is out sick today and we will have a substitute today." From the admin side of things you could select which classrooms receive which announcement.

Organize and view students' lessons by gender, race, and family income level
Organize and view lessons (by area and total #) given to students by: race, gender, socioeconomic level so that we can see which students are getting what lessons and view by category to support equity.

Lesson reference sheet to include lessons from child's previous class
Would love for the lesson reference sheet to include lessons that the child has completed in a previous class, so that if they are moved over to a new class their most recent lessons can still be viewed. We find this feature really helpful for preparing for parent chats.

Tagging lessons
It would be nice if when you tag a lesson, while making an observation note, that it would not automatically mark that you gave the child the lesson.

add a feature to denote which students receive services
I’d really like a way to see which students receive services (for my school, it’s IEPs and 504s, but for other schools it may be less formal). This is particularly needed when doing the classroom enrollment balancing graphs.
