  2. Applicants are able to submit multiple applications for the same child. A new application is submitted each time an applicant makes a change and clicks "submit". This allows families to apply without paying the application fee. We are having a difficult time tracking payments.

  4. If a child is waitlisted it makes the session they for which they applied a moot point. If I just had their age and DOB it would be a lot easier to sort through applications.

Because other schools often request records when children transition, it would be very helpful if a school-provided header and footer could be put on each printed page, with page 1 being different than subsequent pages. Ideally the footer could include address, website, phone number and page # of total pages. For the header, we used the header template, but couldn't create two columns on the first page which would be nice. For page 2 + it would be nice to include the school's name, the child's name, and the session or school-displayed session name at a minimum in the printed…

  9. Sometimes my teachers struggle with recording their notes and lessons given into TC in a timely manner. So when they binge their record keeping, it seems like they gave a ton of lessons on one day but not for a while before. This changes the usable data when we run reports and makes the reports much less useful for me as an admin trying to keep watch over new teachers. We would like to use TC to track parent attendance at Parent Gatherings (parent education nights), Conferences, Observations, Outdoor Environment Days, etc. We feel this is vital for knowing the parent's commitment to the Montessori Philosophy. Admin can then help the guides with family retention instead of it all being on the guide.

  11. We are creating a primary readiness form that we would like toddler staff to be able to fill out. It would be great to be able to assign forms for staff to fill out and then apply to each child in their class as they fill it out.

  12. Right now, it's all or nothing. Super annoying. We take the time to curate the best photo content and there is not way, other than one-by-one, to download only those photos adequate for our marketing efforts.

  14. I would like to add a field when designing a form that "Goes To" the Normal Hours for children. In our enrollment agreement form, parents choose half day, school day, after care, etc. It would be helpful if data from that form field would Go To the "Normal Hours" for a child. So if a parent just chose "School Day" the hours for the child in TC would be 8am-3pm. If they selected "School Day and After Care", the house would be 8am-6pm, etc.

We're thinking of having someone work on the standards for our regions Early Years Curriculum Framework however this will be at a significant cost to us and are hesitant to upload the work based on this. If the standards could be locked for use only by the uploading school, it would take away this concern. If Transparent classroom wasn't keen on this thought, it could be for a year. Or two years.

  17. Have the enrollment date and summary transferred over to newly generated reports from previous reports along with the previous information from the former report. This way, I do not have to cut and paste these in with the rest of the information that was already transferred. This is time consuming.

  18. My assistant is typically the one to tag uploaded photos each day. She marks the activity “private” so that I can review the entry before making it viewable by parents. Currently it is incredibly time consuming to go back through and click each photo, click edit, uncheck the “private” box, and press save. It would be so helpful to be able to accomplish the same thing with a single click and with photos all shown in a row.
