Report # of Lessons Planned by Child AND Area
As we look at teacher planning, we want to make sure that teachers are planning lessons across the curriculum for each child. We need to see a report that's a cross between the "Child Lessons by Area" and "School Planning/Reporting by Area". We want to see how many lessons were PLANNED for each child in each area. The Child Lessons by Area report only shows how many lessons were GIVEN. The School Planning report shows you how many lessons were planned in each area by CLASSROOM, but we need to see by CHILD. Timetabling / scheduling of other activities into a planner or calendar
We'd like the ability to create a weekly/term timetable or planner that includes other classroom or school events into a planner that could also be printed eg. excursions, library visits, sport, etc - as well as lessons.
This would allow teachers to see everything going on in the week in one view. As you know, teachers do much more in the day than give lessons and it would be really helpful to do all this planning in TC - one stop.

Add the option of tracking a child's Work Habits - their independence in activity and interest in certain areas of the environment.
Add the option of tracking 'Work Habits'. Whether their work choice was an #Independent Choice vs. #Directed Choice, whether they #PackedUpIndependently or #PackedUpWithHelp or #PackedUpAfterRemider. At the moment I have created my own lesson sets with these options, but it is crowding up my Lesson Plan and appears in the child's "Most Recent Lessons" as a result, which is kind of clunky.

parents to see "pages" on app
Can we add "Pages" to the parent app. This is where our school adds many of the important school info and is the main contact we have with our parents.

make it possible to view attendance of more than one class at a time
The "children" tab has the option to view individual classrooms or "all classrooms". It would be helpful it this were also available in attendance.

transfer to button
It would be great if instead of signing out a child that there was a 'transfer to' button that the teacher could select when signing a child out of their care, but into the care of someone else. For example, Bob is signed in to before school care at 8:15AM, at 8:30AM Bob leaves before school program and joins his class - the teacher clicks 'transfer to' and toggles down to his classroom - he is signed out of before care and signed into his classroom with ONE click!!!!!

Have an area for us to track teacher attendance. This will help us know where teachers are getting close to their number of sick days, etc.

Allow for exportable data
In order to analyze trends in classroom/school-level data, allow for student-level data to be exported as .csv or other standard format. (# lessons introduced by lesson by child?)

Functionality of Classroom Placement for Future Sesssions
The Classroom Placement page is not useful as you have it currently set up. When I pull up the 2020-21 school year, all the children enrolled in that session should show up. Instead, only returning students are showing up. This means that in order to move children around from one class to another as we try to figure out placements, we have to go into the Children list, open each individual child and edit. Add a third scale to lesson sets (besides masterable and ongoing)
1) A third option under Lesson Set Scales
------Currently, under Admin>Settings>Edit Lesson Sets There are 2 scales with 6 editable options (Masterable and Ongoing). I would like a third scale, or the ability to add a third scale (ideally called assigned work). This would enable me to track the progress of assignments with deadlines by sessions. This one change would greatly affect the useability of TC for individual and group assignment tracking, as well as enable it to be accessible as an information set for Conference reports, which would be incredible.7 votes -
Automatic photo locking
I would like the option for admin to automatically lock all photos and observations so that they need to be unlocked to be shared with parents. This means that we can easily upload the photos for teacher tracking but they are not automatically shared with parents. Unfortunately, we have parent who have become very addicted to school photos and demanding about receiving updates. By doing it this way, we could protect children's privacy and teachers (as they tend to upload and tag in big loads, not constantly).

Make daily attendance records printable
The state of Oregon requires that we print up daily attendance records. As I understand T.C., this isn't possible. How do other schools address the daily printing of attendance records without having to re-fill everything in?

Application Confirmation Email
Please send an email to parents to confirm that their application has been submitted.
Ideally with a summary of their form and some ability for the school to customize an email to precede that form.
But at minimum, some generic email that confirms applications have been received.
We get so many calls and emails about this and it gums up the workflow.

Auto-enter scale when typing a few letters
In the Activity tab, when entering the scale for a lesson, just like the names and lessons drop down and automatically find the name/lesson you want after typing just a few letters, it would be great if that could be the case when entering the scale as well. Instead of entering "introduced" I could just enter "i" and then click enter. It would make entering the lesson quicker. Just an idea.

Develop a student portfolio page
This could be a place where students can upload their work to share with each other/teachers/parents. They would also be able to submit their own self assessments for districts and schools that expect this.

We would love to create a new role with limited access
We would love to create a role where the persons has access to some of the administrative/office things(such as forms), but does not have access to the classrooms. For instance, we have a volunteer parent that helps create forms, newsletter, and other office jobs but should not have access to the classroom.
