Volunteering options and lists
Within the parent directory, having an option with parent information that allows easy access for volunteering when we are short staffed, holiday programs, etc.

Lesson Planning and the merging of lessons
Within the Lesson plan By Day page, I would like for the same lessons within a day to remain separate when I have different groups of students receiving the same lesson for differentiation reasons.

Assign forms from student's profile
When creating a new student profile, be able to assign forms right then while adding other info would be helpful, convenient and more efficient. Thanks for considering this.

Attendance Notifications
Add a notification for parents when they sign-in early or late or pick-up late. This would be helpful for reminding parents to arrive on time and let them know they may see additional charges on their invoice (if applicable).

Choose whose "Portfolio" an observation will go into
When recording an observation that involves several children on the Activity Page, it's common that I only want the observation to be saved under 1 or 2 of the children. As it is now, it goes into the Portfolio of every child who is tagged. For example, I do want to record and tag that @Student was a bystander, but I don't need that to show up in their Porfolio; however, I want to record the @Instigator or @Solution-Creator AND have that appear in their Portfolio so parents & I can discuss it at conference, or so I can reference…

On profile/activity pages only view observations related to one subject area at a time AND...
On the profile page of a student or on the activity page for a class, (1) only view lessons related to one subject area at a time in order to better see what student(s) have been working on recently (or for a specific time period) in that area. AND (2) also be able to only view observations on profile/activity pages for a specific time period.

Need to name bottles, how many times a bottle was offered, and how many ounces consumed at each offering.
I would like to be able to name each bottle for the daily tracking (e.g. Bottle #1, Bottle #2, etc.) and be able to record how many ounces were consumed. That way, we can keep track of which bottle was offered, how many times it was offered, and how much was consumed at each offering. This feature is important for a Nido in the state of Minnesota because licensing requires that we expire bottles after one hour. We want to be able to offer the bottle at least two times within the hour. This means we also need to have…

aftercare
When the normal end of day hits the remaining children are in aftercare (some are scheduled some are as needed). It would be nice to have the attendance option to show students still signed in (instead of by classroom) so that the aftercare teacher can easily pull up the record for the parent to sign out.

add numerical assessments
I would like the ability to give a numerical assessment to a child. 90% or 130/160 words. This would be useful for standard assessment and placement tests that we use at the beginning and end of the year. Right now you have to put the number in observations and add it to the portfolio.

Photos of emergency contacts & restricted adults
It would be nice if TC would make it possible for parents to upload a picture of each emergency contact and also a picture of the people not allowed to pick up their child. This would be helpful to staff to tell who someone is. A name alone doesn't always register with staff.

Display Last Name first
I would like to be able to easily find the siblings in my program and have them listed last name first so that it looks like Smith, John vs John Smith.

Enable teachers to have access to attendance for all classrooms
Our teachers need to have access to signing children out for all classrooms at pick up on the playground or for aftercare. Currently, we have to set them as administrators so they can do this. It would be nice to give them access to lesson plans and attendance for all children under the "teacher" setting.

Alternative colors for progress and plan page
I would like to be able to alter the colors on the progress and plan squares from the default Blue. Having shades of blue is difficult to see at a glance for some eyes. Even a few different options to set as a default would be helpful, 100% color freedom is not necessary.

Add automatic tardy/absence
We would love to see a feature that add automatically Tardy when a child is signed in after a specific time where he should be at school.
So for our school, children arrive between 8:45-9am. If a parent drop off his/her child at 9:15am then it should automatically be noted as Tardy.
This would definitely save a lot of our daily time.
And it would be the same for a child that haven't been signed in during the school hours. At the end of the school day, children should be automatically registered as Absent.6 votes -

Add daily’s to the app
It would be helpful to have daily’s on the app. I am a toddler teacher and it would be nice for the parents to download the app and there they would be able to see their child’s daily (potty, lunch, notes,ect).

Date of admission to class
Not sure where to find this if it is an option I would like to include it in my conference report and with the child's information?

Add "switch child" button under each tab of the "Children" section, not just the "Meetings" tab
This would allow switching between children quickly and easily without having to navigate back to the class list.

Add parent comments to observations/presentations
I appreciate the ability to see the statistics and specifics of the parents who are seeing and interacting with the site/app, but I'd like for there to be a way for parents to comment on photos as well as observations/presentations of their tagged child. This would enhance the engagement of the parent/teacher relationship.
