I suggest you create an algorithm to measure the progress within a specific lesson area.
The algorithm would be based on the number of lessons in that area and the progress within each lesson. For example, the progress in long division would be connected to all the lessons on racks and tubes, the stamp game, and finally, the long division algorithm on paper. Each lesson would have a score attached to the progress (e.g. not yet introduced = 1, introduced = 2, needs practice = 3, practicing = 4, proficient = 5). Then let's say long division has a total of 10 lessons mapped to it, the score for long division would automatically be generated…

add in a subject line to divide the lessons on the lesson reference page.
This would allow you to quickly look at the lesson reference page and see the lessons by subject.

Ability to easily upload documents--from OTs, STs, Devopmental Psych Evals, etc.
We'd love to have a way to easily upload outside evaluations--from OTs, STs, Developmental Psych eval, etc. As children transition to the next level/new teacher, it would be nice to be able to access those documents from TC. We always have hard copies, but we don't generally want the child's folder to travel far, least it get lost. Having those important files in TC in a digital format would give the receiving teacher time to look through them at home or over the summer.
I know I can do this using Forms, but Forms are generally used more at an…

Admin - Classroom Placement
Being able to breakdown within a classroom how many students per day for scheduling. I know you can see how many students are in a classroom total under "Children" and selecting the classroom but there should be a way to break it down per day.

Allow administrators to view a student retention report.
Since we have been using TC for about 3 years now, it would be helpful to be able to pull up a student retention report to see how many students return year after year. This is helpful for consultants to see as well as when putting together various campaigns.

Make it possible to toggle ALL "Notes" in 'By Day' to be revealed, or hidden, with one click.
I often want to see ALL the notes, and I'd like a single button to make them seen (on the screen AND when printing). Right now I have to scroll through each day and click the icon for every note for them to be visible.
(THANK YOU for this Notes feature, btw!!! It's rockin' my world!!)3 votes -
Feature to limit access to teaching professionals observation notes, to allow assistants a login to assign accident reports to child
Currently only Lead Teaching Staff has access to Transparent Classroom due to the visibility of information we would like to limit the Assistants access to.
We are trying to go paperless with our Accident/Incident Report Processing.
The reason this process is remaining in paper form, is that our Assistants who primarily fill out these incident reports do not have a way to attach forms in TC without having limited access to Lead Teachers observational notes.

Yearbook / Photobook hardcopy option
At my school we gave children a yearbook with lots of pictures, before TC. This served as a great convdrsation starter for referrals. But, pictures taken through the TC app do not save on my devise. Since you have all the pictures in your database, it probably would be simple for you to enter into a partnership with chatbooks.com to make a photobook for $10, or shutterfly. One of our parents works at. Chatbook.com and could probably help set something up.

make it possible to input days for 2018/19
I would like to be able to input children's days for year 2018/19 as they don't always keep the same days from year to year.

make it easy to see who is in a class on a daily basis
It would be useful to be able to have the same color coded graph that is used on the application screen on a day to day basis. The children at our school don't all come Monday - Friday, some come M,W,F, some T, Th etc, so being able to see at a glance how many children are in a particular class on a particular day would be very helpful. Also to be able to report on that would be good.

Allow a "note section" when applying forms in case we want to tell the parent the reason why the form is being sent to them

Allow some forms to be submitted many times
My parents must fill out a medication release form each time they bring something for their child. If the child has multiple medications, I can only have them fill out one form through TC. I'd like them to be able to fill it out as many as necessary. In the mean time, I will create a link to a google form, but it would be nice to keep it in TC records if possible.

Please add the option for a parent/guardian e-signature on the application form.
Currently, there is not an option to add a parent e-signature on the application form. We are required to have a signature. It would be great for this button to be added so that we can add it to our form.

Can we enable presentations from all planes to be made available for planning and recording for children that are advanced/behind?
Can presentations from the each plane be available to allow for accurate record keeping to take place for students who cross over between planes. For example some students in the class (i.e. 3-6) may be completing lessons from the next plane (6-12 years) but currently we can't find a way of recording this information if they are still enrolled in a lesson set.

Mark the lessons planned with the teachers name and time of the lesson, so that we know who is doing what.
It would be nice to see which teacher has planned the other presentations on "lessons planned" an at what time they are planning to present it. We wright the plan day by day on a board so that the students can plan their day. Then it would make it a lot easier if we could see the time AND which teacher that is going to present the exact presentation. A color koding system or a letter or something would help a lot!

IMMUNIZATION Annual Report
We are required to report number of children Complete, Conditional, Out of Compliance or Exempt by November 1 each year with WA DOH.
I have just started putting our vaccination records into TC after using Childcare Manager for many years. How can I print out the report in a useful manner? How can I select EXEMPT for any of the vaccines?
Since entering all the dates is a long process I want to use just one database to manage the info. And can parents update these records?
Do I need to create a report that parents can use to enter…3 votes -
add more extensive report building and exporting options for Administration
While the report building options for conferences are great, from an administrative side, there is the need to generate different types of reports and export data. The ability to export detailed attendance data for all students at once for example. Or to create printable class lists that can be formatted with a logo, and different headers. Even adding the ability to add columns of information to a screen view before exporting would be awesome. We are looking forward to the classroom aspects of Transparent Classroom, and if the administrative side of things comes along, it could be a full-fledged school…
