Announcement Text Box
Add an announcement text box that appears when parents drop off and pick up their child. This could be used to leave a little reminder like "Parent Ed Tonight!" or "Ms. Elizabeth is out sick today and we will have a substitute today." From the admin side of things you could select which classrooms receive which announcement.

Lesson reference sheet to include lessons from child's previous class
Would love for the lesson reference sheet to include lessons that the child has completed in a previous class, so that if they are moved over to a new class their most recent lessons can still be viewed. We find this feature really helpful for preparing for parent chats.

Tagging lessons
It would be nice if when you tag a lesson, while making an observation note, that it would not automatically mark that you gave the child the lesson.

add a feature to denote which students receive services
I’d really like a way to see which students receive services (for my school, it’s IEPs and 504s, but for other schools it may be less formal). This is particularly needed when doing the classroom enrollment balancing graphs.

Make it possible to toggle photos from public to private
When you hover over a picture you can toggle the picture into a portfolio or not. It would be great to have an option to toggle that picture to public. We have our pictures defaulted to private so we can control how many go out and who sees what. We would like to be able to toggle them easily to public without multiple clicks. Thanks!

add a print/ download/ save to pdf button for parents for conference reports
Once we've published conference reports online, it is not easy for parents to get a copy (specifically we can't give them instructions to do this since every browser would do it differently). It would be great to have a print or download or save button to make this easier for parents

Design Forms/"Short Answer" Input Field/"Staff Only" option
Please provide the "Staff Only" check box option for the "Short Answer" Input field when designing forms. Currently we must use the "Paragraph" input field, but would prefer to have both the short and paragraph options available.

Change concentration interval time on TC app
I love the concentration feature on the TC app. However, I would like to be able to adjust the interval time to something shorter than 15 minutes.

Add a "Locked By Another User" button in Conference Report
Add a "Locked By Another User" button in draft Conference Reports. Our Middle and Upper School classrooms have multiple teachers editing each student's Conference Report, and one teacher could overwrite another teacher’s input in a given report if they’re editing it at the same time.

Daily Tracker Reply to Go to Teacher Instead of Admin
Can we have it set up where if a parent were to have a question about the Daily Tracker/Report that when they hit "reply" it goes back to the teacher rather than to the admin staff? If not, have it come from a <no reply> email so parents will have to email teachers directly with their questions.

Timetabling / scheduling of other activities into a planner or calendar
We'd like the ability to create a weekly/term timetable or planner that includes other classroom or school events into a planner that could also be printed eg. excursions, library visits, sport, etc - as well as lessons.
This would allow teachers to see everything going on in the week in one view. As you know, teachers do much more in the day than give lessons and it would be really helpful to do all this planning in TC - one stop.

Make "Plan Followup"/"Plan Next Lesson" accessible from Activity page
Currently, "Plan Followup" and "Plan Next Lesson" are only accessible from the Lesson Plan page while recording a lesson, or, if you have to access it later, by clicking 'Activity' at the bottom of the page then waiting...then clicking Previous Activity and waiting....then scrolling to find that lesson....then clicking "Plan Followup". Couldn't those same links be added to the Activity page, where it already has options to mark entries with "Portfolio, Edit, Delete"?

Display multiple weeks on Meeting Notes page
PLEASE show more than 1 week in the child's Meeting Page!!
Currently I have weekly conferences with each student, which produce a "to do" list of lessons and follow-ups. Some lessons, however, I have already anticipated, at which point I put them "on deck" on the following week's Lesson Plan. I can only see this info on that page, which requires that I constantly click back and forth between weeks, lesson by lesson, to see where they are. And I must repeat this over and over with every child!
Having 2 weeks (or more) on the child's Meeting Page would…3 votes -
Student Progress Data Analysis
It would be incredibly helpful if we could run a conference report to show the data from the child's progress log in an analytical format. By specifying the dates if it could then list for each curriculum area:
Coverage of curriculum area as a percentage (total lessons mastered in area / total lessons available) and also coverage of each sub area (total lessons mastered in subarea / total lessons available)
Also number of lessons mastered in each area
Ideally if this could then be exported into excel.
This would make running analytics needed for regulators much simpler!12 votes
