  1. Add an editing tool in Transparent Classroom

    Hello wonderful transparent classroom people! I am a Head of School an we are doing conferences. I have been adding my suggestions/editing things our guides have already written, and wanted to suggest that you add an editing feature in tc, similar to what I can use in word or in e-mail that would allow the guides to see my edits as we go along. Currently I have to edit them in microsoft word or e-mail and then they have to do a final edit and then cut and paste back in transparent classroom; the formatting doesn't carry over into transparent…

  2. Announcements via Text

    Allow parents to enable text notifications for Announcements in addition to photos.

    We would love to be able to communicate things like weather closings, picture day, etc. via text in addition to email using the Announcements feature.

  5. Add Paragraphs in All Notes

    It would be nice if we can divide our meeting notes into paragraphs. Right now if I hit ‘enter’ the blurb I am writing gets posted. However, some meetings I have with parents are long and we discuss multiple items. It would be easier to visually divide up the meeting notes for easier re-examining of the notes in the future.

  6. indicating children whose photos shouldn't be used externally

    Is there some way that photos of a child who should not be used for external marketing purposes (only for internal classroom use) can be marked as such in the main photos page so there's no confusion? I've already added "for internal pix only) to their last name in the Directory, but it doesn't show up that way when they're tagged/ Thanks!

  8. screening questions needed for in-building device use

    I am making a strong request that TC finds a way to make the screening questions available for the in-building device sign in use.

    I am working diligently on having the parents use the DD process, specifically so they can complete the daily COVID attestation. It is a licensing requirement that parents attest their child's health every day. If I, as administrator, or a teacher, signs the child in and completes the screening questions, this then circumvents the parents confirming their child's health.

  9. Announcements via Text Message and App

    (1) I would love for the option of sending announcements through to parents and staff via text message.

    (2) It would be great if there was an announcements tab on the app so that parents could view announcements, and/or administrators/teachers could post announcements using the app.

  11. Grade level / program should be tied to the SESSION

    Grade level / program should be tied to the SESSION. Ability to Assign GRADE (& Program Names) for Upcoming Sessions without affect current session grade level / program.When we run an export for an upcoming session we need to manually go through over 130 students to change their upcoming grade level becuase there is no where to store it for upcoming year. This makes it very hard because the export of children is a mix of "Incoming students" who have their correct grade level and returning students who have their prior year grade level still.   13. Prohibiting one parent from signing for both.

    Please create a way to prohibit one parent from signing for both parents on a form (ex: contract). With different family dynamics(divorce) it is imperative that both parents acknowledge what they are agreeing to when enrolling their child.
    95% of our parents sign in from one profile and click to sign for both parents lengthening the process extensively for us to have to track them all down to go back in and resubmit the form.

  14. Add notes to concentration tracking

    It would be great to be able to add notes to concentration tracking with a feature similar to activity e.g. #cylinderblockA or #notesinobservations and then be able to write what the child is doing at the time.

  17. Better Concentration graph recall

    Hello,
    It would be wonderful if there was a better way to view archived Concentration Tracking graphs. Currently it is very hard to find them as you have to remember the date in order to view the graph. If they could all be viewed in one place it would be easier to compare past and present data.

  18. OFFICE staff and Attendance

    It would be useful to have an "office" staff position that has the ability to do attendance but can not get specifically into any other features. The difficulty is with parents who are sometimes office staff that should not be able to see all children details. The other option is to have an "other" feature which allows you to turn ON or OFF different features.
