Student Portal
There is a great need for a Student Portal. This will afford students, as appropriately identified by the school, to access, contribute to, and support their own learning, planning, and reflective practices in as much as the school wishes and/or expects.

Averaging of Student Progress
Consideration needs to be made to adjust Masterable and Ongoing Scales to a number system, as opposed to the simple color system. Even aligning these colors with the numbers currently identified on the scales would be an easy “mapping” exercise. The means to average these numbers would enable just that, an average of skills attained by the student across time and/or several lessons, versus as it is presently done--the currently identified highest level achieved per standard/lesson.

Collaboration by teacher teams on student progress
Configuration should be made to allow for a group of teachers to input objective and/or subjective measures for a student for the same standard. Averaging the inputs would create an overall score. While TC does make the work of faculty efficient in many respects, not having this capability necessitates that the staff routinely review progress and “averaged scores” to ensure accuracy, thus negating any time gained by the efficiency inherent in the system itself at present.

Drag and Drop Feature
An ability to “drag and drop” elements of any previous published conference report into a new (entire) report. Maybe this is already available, but it has not sounded like that in our conversations.

conference reports- see who else is active on a file
It would be fantastic if there was some kind of indication that someone else was working in a child's file- especially regarding conference reports. Similar to working in a google doc. This would allow teaching teams to work without accidentally overwriting another teacher's comments.

I would be great to have daily notes offered on the mobile app. It would be very convenient to the parents.
Add daily notes to app!

Highlight student name at top of spreadsheet once lesson is planned
While lesson planning, indicate with an icon or a highlight next to their name at the top of the spreadsheet, which students have a planned lesson. In this way it is easier to ensure that each student has at least one lesson planned (assuming you're only planning for one week or a short period of time).

hide and or edit links of profile photos on conference report
In the conference report when we add profile photos it shows links to the person who tagged and and the child that is tagged. We would like to have the option to remove this, edit or hide.

Lesson Activity Listed under new Lesson Editor, Lesson pages
The new lesson editor doesn't show the lessons that have been input.
The old one, when you go to the lesson page, shows a list of the "activity" lessons with students and dates that have been input. this is a really helpful feature, a key feature, in my record keeping and how i look for what other students have worked on to connect them within the class.
Please add this old feature to the new lesson editor.

Streamline daily tracking
It would be great if we could temporarily “hide” children if they are absent. Then we wouldn’t have to see their names when we are doing daily tracking. Obviously a child who is absent doesn’t need to be toileted that day! And children who are half day don't need to be on the nap page.

Streamlined attendance
I would love to be able to have the teachers on the attendance in a way that wasn't so confusing and didn't cost extra money. I would imagine this would be greatly appreciated by all schools that use TC for attendance.

Have different controls for visible to other staff and visible to parents for Activity notes
Two levels of privacy for posts (both because they are needed, but also because current is unclear):
1. Visible / Not Visible to other staff. This should be marked as visible by default.
2. Visible / Not Visible to parents. This should be marked as not visible by default.
This will allow the use of activity notes to really record anecdotal and running observations, which are a fundamental part of classroom tracking, and something teachers might otherwise need to do on paper (especially interns who need to present these notes to their supervisors)1 vote -
Be able to obtain all activity for a given period of time, ideally as report
Have the ability to filter all notes, tags, photos, lessons, etc for a given period of time (weekly, bi weekly, monthly, etc), with the possibility to filter by child. Ideally this would generate some sort of report - these can be used for parent reports, but also teacher retrospectives and reflections (weekly, monthly, etc).
