Materials linked to lessons/inventory feature
For many of the lessons there are specific materials that go with them. I suggest having a materials section that goes with each lesson. This can be a specific physical manipulative (such as the color palett box) as well as a link to a website/video/pdf for older students or students doing virtual learning due to Covid. Data from this feature could also be linked to an inventory list that can be used among staff/admin to keep track of where certain materials are on campus. For planned outside lessons (which are increasingly helpful due to Covid) this material list can come in handy in order to know which materials to bring for certain lessons.

Mass Printing Forms
It would be extremely helpful to be able to mass print forms off of Transparent Classroom. We have required forms that need to be in the classroom or that need to be filed. Having to print one by one is extremely time consuming. This would be an awesome addition to an already awesome platform.
My other suggestion is to allow for formatting on announcements. Not being able to bold, bullet point, etc. can make for hard to read communications. They would be more engaging with this ability.
My last suggestion would be to be able to print monthly paper rosters. We keep a paper record in the classrooms to take attendance in case of an emergency.
Thanks for all you do!

Photo description
I needs to write the description of photos in the early morning at 3 or 4 am sometimes and then tag that photos to parents after 6 am. I could edit but could not tag to parents. I had to copy my description, delete my description and then choose child's name and paste the description. Could you please add function that teacher can just choose a child' name and tag to parents easily after editing.

Contact tracing in sign-in module
Due to contact tracing requirements, we need to note who is dropping off and picking up each student. Is there a way (other than in the "notes" feature on the sign-in page, to note who picks up and drops off each child?

lesson plan
When I deleted the lesson plan from children box, it showed that I presented the lesson for the child. Actually I did not. Please change the feature. I took over the class. These goals and lesson plan were set by previous teacher and I wanted to organize and updated the current lesson plan. Please add delete feature properly.

Lesson Plans not Lesson Lists
Hello Transparent Classroom Team, Anthony from Forestville Montessori School, Sydney Australia.
Once again, loving your product. I'd like to make a feature request which I believe could enhance your product and help teachers stop duplicating lessons and plans across multi-documents and apps.
Currently Transparent Classroom makes the task of generating lessons and organising them into lists such as weekly, by lesson, or by student very easy. The piece that we have identified that is missing is the actual individual lesson. Most schools have a requirement that teachers, especially in elementary plan lessons from their albums. The album provides the basis for the lessons, it is the user manual on how to present lessons but is not the lesson plan. The lesson plan feature in Transparent Classroom builds a lesson list, it is not a lesson plan from a curriculum point of view.
The lesson plan has very specific features:
- Subject Area
- Term or Semester
- Week or Date
- Lesson Title
- Album Reference
- Direct Aim
- Lesson Summary
- Designated Follow-up
- Children
- Additional Notes
- There could be the ability to add or modify these headers as required by schoolWould it be possible to build this feature into Transparent Classroom?
I would see the following scenario happen when a teacher starts the planning process:
- Select the lesson title
- Select the children
- Select the date
- It would also flag the lesson for presentation as it currently does
- It would also build the current Weekly Lesson Plan list
This would then auto populate a page that is the beginning of the detailed lesson plan.
- Teacher then fills out the rest of the document
- Album Reference
- Direct Aim
- Lesson Summary
- Designated Follow-up
Additional Notes
These documents are then saved securely in Transparent Classroom as a ‘one-shop-repository’. There would need to be some sort of nomenclature or file structure so that the plans are easily accessible e.g. Top Level: Anthony’s 9-12 Class 2020 / Next Level: folders for subject areas / The plan is then stored in the appropriate folder with a date stamp eg. 2020-Wk6-28Aug.
The reason I’m proposing this is that we are moving away from paper documentation and storage. Also, we are trying to streamline the process and make it consistent across the school. Some teachers use Word docs, other use spreadsheets, some use OneNote etc. We are looking for ease of use, collaborative documents, easy access and storage.
What do you think? Would love to discuss further as it is getting very frustrating have documents all over the place. Could be a ‘WIN-WIN’ for Transparent Classroom and Schools. The lesson plans would not be available to parents.

Make Class of Faculty for Sign IN
It would be great to have the ability to create a class from faculty members and use it to have staff sign in and out. We customized the regular sign in to check T and S to indicate temp and screening questions had been done. Would be a huge help to have faculty sign themselves in and click that they had done the screening and had temp checks.

Internal Form / Pending Form / More Control of Forms
It would be great to be able to create forms that do not have to go to the parents immediately or at all. We are especially wanting this for incident forms and behavior tracking as we would like to be able to fill out internal forms that could remain in the child's record but not be seen by parents, or could be released to parents at a later date. (also a way to internally edit forms without it alerting parents. In order for us to make an update or change to a child's health form or registration form we have to un-submit it and then the parent gets a notification that confuses them)

Customize or save PIN to keychain
It would be great for parents to be able to customize their PIN to something that is easier for them to remember. Or allow for the PIN to be saved in their browsers keychain to be auto entered. We love the Distance drop-off feature!

Update "do not share" language to be more clear.
Better language for "do not share" option.
When parents are uploading their information, please have more detail around "do not share". Several parents misinterpreted that this year. Could it say something like "do not share my email in the class directory"?

Daily Health Tracking
Hi! The daily temperature tracker is great! Truthfully, we have other screening questions and tried to create a form, but we can't easily use forms for daily use, they tend to have more "one off" applications. Would it be possible to either add more daily health tracking items or make forms for your own tracking needs?
