Make it possible to jump to a specific date/date range in Activity
Make it possible to view the lessons that were given on a specific date or range of dates by jumping straight to it. Currently, you must scroll through all the posts to find the correct date. When needing to enter a lesson that may have been missed being entered in the past, you then have to scroll to the top of the Activity page to enter, then scroll back down to the date/date range you were searching for.

Bulk sign in
It would be very helpful if we can select multiple students and sign them in at the same time and set the same sign in time for multiple students at once.

allow the completed lesson plan page to generate individual work plans for each child for the coming week.
Many classrooms in our school utilize weekly work plans. It takes a great deal of time to individually create every student's plan. It would be truly wonderful if there was a way to export a work plan based on the planned lessons for the week.

Add options to enter time for Toileting/Nap/Lunch at entry
When entering information, give options of using the current time (as it is set now) or enter the time. We usually cannot enter the information/entry as it is happening. Usually we enter them during down time, such as nap time. With the current setting, all the entry automatically gets wrong time (the time of entry instead of occurrence) As a result, we have to edited/fixed them one by one on each child's page.
I believe adding the option to add time will save enormous time for this data entry.
*current setting should be left as a default for the times…8 votes -
remove hot links to lessons from photo tags in parent view.
I want to tag photos with lessons for my internal use, but don't want parents to be able to see the lesson page when they click the tag in the photo.

Say more about this. What types of questions. To whom? If to the school, how would you know that they had been asked?

Age + Gender Classroom Placement
I would love to see the Classroom Placement tool modified to include an age with gender view to help be sure that all of the 4 year olds in a class aren't boys (or girls) so that there are generally the same number of each gender within each age set.

have the ability to print all of a child's licensing forms at once instead of one at a time
We still need paper copies of all forms in student folders. It takes too long to do it one by one...

Auto-enter scale when typing a few letters
In the Activity tab, when entering the scale for a lesson, just like the names and lessons drop down and automatically find the name/lesson you want after typing just a few letters, it would be great if that could be the case when entering the scale as well. Instead of entering "introduced" I could just enter "i" and then click enter. It would make entering the lesson quicker. Just an idea.

Make daily attendance records printable
The state of Oregon requires that we print up daily attendance records. As I understand T.C., this isn't possible. How do other schools address the daily printing of attendance records without having to re-fill everything in?

Add group planning unrelated to children
As a primary guide I plan not only for individual children, but for general groups that I can do at any time, with any children. And I would like a record of when and what I do in these groups, but I don't want to track this in relation to the individual children that may join my groups. During the last year of beginning to use TC I have printed out my lesson plans and then just added this group information by hand. However I've been transitioning to only using the iPad. Somehow I think it would be possible for…

Become compatible with Epad or HP Touchsmart 320
Hello,
We are using the Transparent classroom electronic sign-in feature but are having trouble with signature capture. When we try to use the touch screen to sign, the whole screen moves and small dots appear on the signature capture window. We bought an E-pad, but found it was not compatible with the Transparent Classroom interface. We called Epad support and found that the information for creating a patch was readily available on the site if you would like to incorporate it into the transparent classroom software. Please keep us posted on anything we can do to streamline this process, it…5 votes -
Add morning health checks to the daily tracking features
NYS requires daycare centers to conduct morning health checks for children who attend, and keep written record. If this were a separate feature in the Daily Tracking window, it would allow us to replace paper tracking with Transparent Classroom.

Bottles - offered amount to start in daily tracking
I would like an option in the bottle section of daily tracking for infants to include a way to indicate the initial amount of milk that was in the bottle when served. Currently, you can only record how many ounces the baby drank.

When using the @allchildren option please add commas between each child's name.
I've noticed that when I use the @allchildren option, it lists the children but there are no commas. In order to make my sentence using each child's name grammatically correct (as teachers should do, of course!), I go back through and add commas manually... I'd love to save time and skip that step! Please add the commas when providing the list of children.
