  1. It would be nice to record all meals in one section so that it is easy to see who has eaten recently (including bottles). Looking at the bottle section it can seem like a very long time without eating because solids are recorded elsewhere.

  2. In the Nido children eat only foods from home. It can be confusing to have so many meal options and they seem to assume a group meal, so we record all solids in "note". We would be able to use the meal features if they were individualized.

  3. It would be great if we could turn off the daily tracking e-mails for certain classrooms. For example at our school we do tracking for children all the way into Casa but would only like the share the information with the parents of the children in the infant room.

  4. We use Transparent Classroom for our Montessori High School. Our students plan with their teachers their week. We have given them access as "family member" as teachers upload pictures of their homework and tasks as observations. I know teachers could print the weekly plan but that would be a lot of paper and still not allow the student the freedom to adapt the planning during the week. It would be easier for our students to have access to the weekly plan online.

  6. t would be very helpful to have a list of toddler, primary and elementary core Montessori materials. Most schools do a classroom specific inventory at the end of each year. Transparent Classroom has the expertise and perspective to create an effective much-needed tool.

  7. It would be incredibly helpful if we could run a conference report to show the data from the child's progress log in an analytical format. By specifying the dates if it could then list for each curriculum area:
    Coverage of curriculum area as a percentage (total lessons mastered in area / total lessons available) and also coverage of each sub area (total lessons mastered in subarea / total lessons available)
    Also number of lessons mastered in each area
    Ideally if this could then be exported into excel.
    This would make running analytics needed for regulators much simpler!

  8. We usually write our own reports for every child in Word or Pdf format. We couldn't attach them to the child's profile. It would be nice to have this function.

  9. After several mishaps, it seems that the publish and edit button should not be next to each other. Perhaps Edit, Refresh Date, then Publish? Just a thought.

  10. It would be very convenient to be able to filter the activity feed view by child and/or lesson to avoid having to click through multiple pages. The only way I know right now to get to a specific child' records with a particular lesson is to click on that child's name, go to the progress page, find the lesson and click on it. It would be really nice if there was an option to filter the records shown right in the activity feed.

  13. As Admin can look at "All Classrooms" in other areas, it would be wonderful for Parents to be able to sign-in on such a page. We are a small school with a Toddler and a Primary Classroom with just one tablet for signing in. It becomes confusing to parents to switch in between tabs (that are not labeled - as mentioned in another idea), especially when some are in a hurry. Thank you!

  14. When you hover over a picture you can toggle the picture into a portfolio or not. It would be great to have an option to toggle that picture to public. We have our pictures defaulted to private so we can control how many go out and who sees what. We would like to be able to toggle them easily to public without multiple clicks. Thanks!

  16. Allow elementary teachers to "give a follow up" like a lesson with multiple steps and due dates, that can then viewed on a weekly or monthly calendar based on the due dates. It would also be helpful to have a calendar with lessons given and follow ups on a weekly or monthly calendar as well as on the "by child" view. Also allow elementary teachers to record a series of follow ups that can be customized and selected like a lesson.

  17. When I change the academic session in one tab of the "Children" section of the site, I nearly always want the session to stay the same if I click on another tab within that section. It is fine if the session resets when I navigate away to a different section of the site, but it would make it a lot easier if I didn't have to change it every time I navigate to a different tab within a section.

  18. the Bill neatly summarizes the number of students and charges for the various periods during the month, but does NOT give a subtotal for each campus. I have to break out the EXCEL each month just to enter/allocate my bill. PLEASE help - seems like an EASY fix

  19. If admin could upload a photo to 'all classrooms' and then click @wholeschool, or something along those lines, they would be able to include a message that would reach all parents in their child's activity feed. This would be great for reminders, events, etc....
