  1. "only staff edit" option for linked information on forms

    Option for "only staff can edit" on linked information in a form. Example: Emergency contact form has linked information for parent 1 and 2. Parent filling out the form changes the parent 1 name to their name and puts in phone number. This then changes the phone number of parent 1, which creates a whole mess when calling parents in emergencies. If we are able to add a "staff only can edit" tick box, could this prevent the problem?

  2. Default Classroom Designation

    Make a Default Classroom to ease re-enrollment. Currently, the "classroom placement" page lists the most recently added classroom which is often something like "spring chess club" instead of the actual class "ms. smith", which makes re-enrollment hard to do in an efficient way.

  6. Required state reporting

    Every year we have to report to surrounding counties the students we have enrolled frothier county. It would be nice to have a report feature, or be ale to design report where we can quickly gather that information. we need name, birthdate, address and county... I'm sure other schools have to make similar reports.

    I would love to be able to search in the Activity feed by keyword (for example "group lesson" or "packing away") without it needing to be a phrase that is hashtagged as a lesson.

  14. Privacy feature for teacher notifications

    Please, please, PLEASE make it an option for teachers to turn off immediate notifications to parents. E.g. daily vs. hourly or right away.

    I'm very ADHD and I do things at WEIRD hours. If I'm doing lesson plan recording or uploading/tagging pictures I need parents to see it at a general time, NOT that I was doing it at 2 in the morning! A few parents made comments about it at conferences this week and I was mortified. I have so much to do and I am so overwhelmed and I need to be able to do TC work when…

  15. Editing Photos

    Could a feature be added to Transparent Classroom that allows photos to be edited and faces of children blurred out? This would help with privacy concerns with group photos.

  17. emergency attendance

    I am curious if your app gets used in the case of an emergency on campus to report out attendance. We are thinking about how it could work and wondering if a teacher grabbed a student from another environment/class how they could report out to everyone that they had that child? Let me know if you have something that could work around this and/or if there is a new feature that could solve that. Thanks! mphillips@msd-co.org

  19. Time Zone change in BC Canada - new drop down?

    We are located in Vancouver BC, Canada. This Sunday March 8, 2026, we will not have standard time so there may be a new time zone created for us. In the app it says Pacific Time (USA and Canada) but the coast of the USA will not change their time zone, so a new time zone may need to be created for us as a drop down (ie. If California is Pacific Time in the winter 2026 of 4:30pm, it will be 5:30pm for us) https://vancouversun.com/news/bc-daylight-time-permanent

  20. Unpublish Conf Reports ALL AT ONCE!

    Hi TC :)
    Happy Thursday!
    I'd like to suggest a feature for conference reports.
    Currently, teachers must "unpublish" reports individually, then edit reports, and then republish the conf reports so parents get notice that a new conf report is ready!

    It would be nice to have a feature to "unpublish" all reports at once!
