add a page where teachers can post long term assignments and due dates for parents' information
Hi,
We have a Montessori adolescent program with a variety of long and short term assignments. Some of our students are having difficulty managing due dates. Some parents have requested an online way to see long term assignments and their due dates to better support their students at home. Can this be folded into TC?

Add "plan" to Activity page to make planning easier
On the Activity page, you could type what was just presented:
@stephanie mastered #numberrods
and in the same box add what needs to be presented next:
@stephanie plan #spindlebox
so it would look like this:
@stephanie mastered #numberrods plan#spindlebox
and then the little flag appears in the progress and plan grid

add a feature to track the student tuition payment and monthly fees
I am referring to the ability to track my school's billing seeing student's first tuition and the monthly fees, by each one, putting a checkmark in each student/month when it is on time and a X when is delayed/pending or cmpletely unpaid. It could include a "date" mark, to control the deadlines and an "active/inactive since ..." button because some students will start and probably some will leave during the school term.

remove hot links to lessons from photo tags in parent view.
I want to tag photos with lessons for my internal use, but don't want parents to be able to see the lesson page when they click the tag in the photo.

Staff without default classroom
We have a school kitchen (an extension to the classroom, children help with preparing lunch), and school cooks don't have a default classroom. Same with the head of school, our billing manager and some other staff. Would it be possible to make the default classroom a not-required field? their views could default to "All Classrooms".

More "recent lessons" listed on weekly lessons page. To guide Children's House towards choices.
More "recent lessons" on the lessons by the week page. I like to know 6-8 recent lessons at a glance so I can guide wandering children toward appropriate choices.

Is there a plan to create an iPad app for record keeping? I find that apps work so much better than mobile websites.

Allow to set default normal hours per classroom
I want to be able to set the normal hours for all children in a classroom (or classroom type), so I don't have to go into every child's profile to set it there. I assume that for most schools, the hours would be the same for all children in the same classroom?

Alert on the Attendance/class list page
To ensure awareness and safety whenever a staff brings up a child (on any screen) with a medical or custody concern there should be a corresponding flag beside that child's name. (ie. red for medical alert, blue for custody). For added security, there should also be a picture of each child on any page relating to them.

Assign lessons to an assistant
One thing my teachers want to be able to do is assign lessons to their assistant, and have it show up on the lesson plan as assigned to the assistant. For example, they might want to have "Ms Lauren" teach a bead bar addition lesson to Bobby, Sally, and Joey on Tuesday. They want that to show up as a separate box on the classroom lesson plan, clearly designated to Ms Lauren. I'm thinking that this is sort of the opposite of the "blue flag" lesson plans. We would love to create a new role with limited access
We would love to create a role where the persons has access to some of the administrative/office things(such as forms), but does not have access to the classrooms. For instance, we have a volunteer parent that helps create forms, newsletter, and other office jobs but should not have access to the classroom.

Assign Multiple forms to one child.
We can now assign a form to many children, but if a new student starts the program and needs all the forms assigned to them at once, it takes time to individually assign each form. Rather, I propose check boxes be added to the design forms window (in the same way as they are currently next to each child in the "children" window) such that multiple forms could be selected and assigned in bulk to a single child. Add health checks (symptoms) to the attendance section in the notes
As of right now, we have the health checks in the parent sign in section. This makes it difficult because we have to click on each individual child, add a note and then click on which symptoms they have (also making it private because parents don't need to see this). Since parent's are not using this feature, I was hoping that the symptoms could be moved to the attendance tab in the notes (along with the private button). Staff sign in
Is there a way to have a staff sign in attendance page, just like your attendance page? with a report etc?? Without adding them as students and having them on the actual sign in page?? Maybe another tab on the attendance sheet?
