Edit Exit Reasons
We are a public charter school and the reasons for a child's exit differ greatly from the list that is provided. We would like to be able to edit the reasons. Currently we track the following reasons:
Transportation issues
Nutrition Issues
Issue with classroom-teacher
Issue with classroom-students
Homeschooling
Left for traditional schoolBecause it it a required field at the very least being able to enter "other" would be nice.
Also, what are the reporting capabilities?

Children's names in lessons
When looking at the parent view they often get confused, and concerned when they see other children's names if a group lesson was given. Rather than displaying each child involved in the group lesson, it would be great if the application would only display the child belonging to that child. It would allow for much better record keeping for our staff, particularly as it would save a great deal of time, more importantly, it would allow us to more easily adhere to Ferpa laws.

make lesson plans just for "Groups"
To be able to print lesson plans just for "groups of children" without having to arrange them in "Progeress and Plan"

Make payment submission for applications mandatory and offer a fee waiver code.
Applicants are able to submit multiple applications for the same child. A new application is submitted each time an applicant makes a change and clicks "submit". This allows families to apply without paying the application fee. We are having a difficult time tracking payments.

Allow only one application submission.
We notice that some of our families submit their application form multiple times - is there a way to avoid this?

sign in and sign out siblings at same time
The PARENT SIGN IN PAGE allow a parent with multiple children, in different classes, to sign all siblings in or out on the same page at the same time.
For example,
The Jones have three children enrolled in three different classes. At drop off the parent can select one of the three children to sign in. The page that follows displays all three children, each with the option to "click" drop off. Signature is only required one time. If a child is not present, the parent does not "click" the drop off button and that child is not signed in…5 votes -
make dates a lesson was given changeable
Sometimes my teachers struggle with recording their notes and lessons given into TC in a timely manner. So when they binge their record keeping, it seems like they gave a ton of lessons on one day but not for a while before. This changes the usable data when we run reports and makes the reports much less useful for me as an admin trying to keep watch over new teachers. While I am giving lots of reminders to do DAILY record-keeping, it would be really helpful if they could easily tell TC that they gave stamp game last Tuesday, and…

Make downloading only 'Favorite' photos possible
Right now, it's all or nothing. Super annoying. We take the time to curate the best photo content and there is not way, other than one-by-one, to download only those photos adequate for our marketing efforts.

Student Numbers into Conference reports
In SA we received unique student id's from our Education Department. In TC you can enter a student number which we populate with our education departments number. It would be nice to be able to pull that number through into conference reports

Normal Hours populated from Forms
I would like to add a field when designing a form that "Goes To" the Normal Hours for children. In our enrollment agreement form, parents choose half day, school day, after care, etc. It would be helpful if data from that form field would Go To the "Normal Hours" for a child. So if a parent just chose "School Day" the hours for the child in TC would be 8am-3pm. If they selected "School Day and After Care", the house would be 8am-6pm, etc.

Allow the standards that a school uploads to have a privacy setting
We're thinking of having someone work on the standards for our regions Early Years Curriculum Framework however this will be at a significant cost to us and are hesitant to upload the work based on this. If the standards could be locked for use only by the uploading school, it would take away this concern. If Transparent classroom wasn't keen on this thought, it could be for a year. Or two years.

add a print/ download/ save to pdf button for parents for conference reports
Once we've published conference reports online, it is not easy for parents to get a copy (specifically we can't give them instructions to do this since every browser would do it differently). It would be great to have a print or download or save button to make this easier for parents

Adding a monthly and weekly planning and report for the whole classroom that we can export and print and share with parents.

Classroom Placement
It would be great if you could create an export button for the graph and also allow a longer classroom name to be shown (right now it´s limited to 12 characters +numberKids ,otherwise bar description is blank in chart).

Enrollment Date widget & summary transferred to newly generated reports
Have the enrollment date and summary transferred over to newly generated reports from previous reports along with the previous information from the former report. This way, I do not have to cut and paste these in with the rest of the information that was already transferred. This is time consuming.

Sunscreen Log
According to DCFS, we need to track the sunscreen application in a medical log. It would be much easier if there was a button we could tap that would state to parents (1) the sunscreen was applied and (2) when it was applied. This would be especially helpful as sometimes multiple applications are necessary.

Have a screen to quickly mark tagged photos as public
My assistant is typically the one to tag uploaded photos each day. She marks the activity “private” so that I can review the entry before making it viewable by parents. Currently it is incredibly time consuming to go back through and click each photo, click edit, uncheck the “private” box, and press save. It would be so helpful to be able to accomplish the same thing with a single click and with photos all shown in a row.

Add App Integrations
As Transparent Classroom is not a one-stop platform to manage the administrative task load of running a school, opening the software up to integrate with apps like project management tools (Asana, etc..) or integrations like Zapier would make overall management much easier and workflow more organized! Thanks!
