Make the order of the batches in Child's Progress as the order in Lessons.
When I went to record the lessons given to one of our children, it was a bit frustrating that the order of the batches in Children's Progress was different than the order of the batches in Lessons (where I edit/add lessons).

A assessment symbol for Ongoing
Me again! I would like to have a symbol that distinguishes between Ongoing and Needs More Practice since some activities are not masterable Thank you!

make tagging with the @ and # easier
I'm having trouble tagging children and materials in both pictures and observations using the @ and # symbols. The drop down menu appears with accurate suggestions, but I cannot select anything - I still have to type it all the way out.

But do see how it is to just use the keyboard. It will make entering observations way faster!
Start typing the name, then you can use the arrow up + down keys to select the name you want, and then tab or enter to choose it.

Allow lesson plans to be made for only selected students
Currently, when I print a lesson plan, there is an empty row for children who do not have any lessons planned (such as someone I know will be absent for the entire week), and it is one long document. I would like to be able to write lesson plans in smaller pieces, or at least be able to define where the page breaks are.

Adding a child's picture
I want to add my student pictures from the pictures I've taken, that are already on transparent classroom. Do I have to upload the photo from my computer or is there a way to use one of the pictures I've already taken using the transparent classroom app?
1 voteAbsolutely. On any child’s page, just hover over the image for the child with your mouse, and click “edit profile picture”. Then you can either choose one of the pictures that child is tagged in, or upload a new one from your computer.

Trying to delete a child
Hi, I have entered a child in 2x I'm trying to delete the extra one, but each time I go into her page, and click delete, it says: "the page not longer exists"

Question:
I have created a user as a family member for a child. When I go in to add them as a family member for the sibling they do not come up in the drop drown menu of parents and I can not add them as a new user due to the fact that the e-mail has already been used. How do I do this?
Thanks1 voteYou are correct. That wasn’t possible (no one had ever tried to do that). It now is possible. Try it again by clicking “add” by the child’s parents. Their family members should also show up.

Geometric cabinet: list each drawer under it, as separate activity.
1 voteGo for it! Feel free to change your lessons to reflect this structure. With the new design, you should easily be able to have an additional group there OR you could call them Geometric Cabinet: …. The colon is special and will keep the app from repeating itself in lesson planning, for example.
We can do a phone call if this is confusing…

can I move a whole set, as in math
Would like to move continuation of counting above the decimal system.
1 voteActually, this is easy. On the lesson set page, you should see all the activities on the top left of the page (math, sensorial, etc). Just drag them into the order you want.

Have a selection of deleting multiple pictures at a time.
Maybe if there was a button that allowed us to check a box to delete pictures that were not used for post....

1 voteWe made it easier to delete, you just click once, and then click again on the confirm text (in the same place). Is this still a problem?
I’m going to leave this open to see who else is interested in this feature. Let’s see how many votes it gets.

Name to picture comment
I love when you make a comment without a picture it says by who ever made the comment. Can you add that to the comments with a picture? Thanks!

Have a tag for the entire class
Have a way for all parents in a class, or the entire school, to see a picture or event, like @EagleClassroom, and @TheMontessoriHouse

I would like Transparent Classroom to automatically save what has been entered without using the SAVE button.
After recording lessons or the progress of children in Children's Progress, I would like the program to automatically save what was entered when you switch pages or close the page. I have lost a lot of recordkeeping and continue to lose it because I try to do something on another page in the middle of recording.

I would like to un-record a lesson given.
I would like to be able to go in and un-record a lesson given. Right now the lesson is one that I want to delete because I don't really want to have a lesson for stringing small beads and another for large beads, but I can't delete because it was recorded and saved for one child.
1 voteYou should now be able to “archive” any lesson. If it has been given, you will be able to view “archived” lessons and see it.
This is a known frustration. Eventually “delete” should put lessons in a recycle bin and work even if a child has had that lesson. However, today, the work around is to go to the lesson you gave to that one child and delete it, or change it to a different lesson. Once that’s done, you can delete the lesson.

Fix the photo app
It is typically WAY too slow, and today we had about 5-6 repeats of EVERY photo we took upload for some reason. Glitch? Something needs to be tweaked about it, I believe. Thanks!
1 voteThe repeats should go away. Is this still happening? We released the new iPhone app in November.
This is in progress – would have done it last month but for tweaks in the attendance app. Expect to have it sometime in October, hopefully next couple weeks.
It’s going to require a bit of work, but once it’s done, it should be much, much faster. -
Lesson plans page is not working for us
I've hit the SAVE button 3 times in a row and I get a window saying "The page you were looking for doesn't exist. You....
I've put in a considerable about of time creating lesson plans and very frustrated that it won't save it and create the lesson plan grid. Please help!!
1 voteThis is working now. Sorry for the hiccup. Looks like we didn’t handle deleting a lesson that had been in a lesson plan correctly. your data is now fixed, and I’ll fix the root cause bug this week.

Buttons for groups within areas
Scrolling on our iPads is very slow. If there were buttons for groups within each area across the top or on the side, it would go much faster. You were right - printing the lesson records did not work- no names at the top! So we have resigned ourselves to using the iPad for looking up lessons given. Thanks for your help. Btw, on my iPad, it never remembers me. I have to type everything in every time.
