make it possible to mark all students "present", then edit specific children if needed
In one step, make all students present for the day, then simply edit ones who are late, sick, etc., since those are the exceptions. That way, we are not having to go through every step for every child every day to take attendance.

create a lesson reference sheet that only shows lessons that are NOT mastered.
This will make it easier for elementary students and assistants to see which lessons need attention without having to sort through the lessons that are already mastered.

Photo tagging: children from multiple classrooms
If I have a student in the elementary program and adolescent program. When I label a student in one classroom, I can't label the student from another classroom.

The app crashes every time it's opened on iPhone.
The app crashes immediately after entering log in info.
10 votesThe app is a teacher app, now it gracefully tells parents that we don’t yet support them logging in.

Add option to print attendance report for all school rather than by class.
Right now you can only print the attendance report per each class. It would be easier to be able to have a report that includes all classes/students all together.

Sort Children by Last Name
It would be nice to reorder or sort children in the class lists by their last name instead of by their first name. Everything else we do is ordered by last name first and then the child's first name.

Ability to print parent directory by class
We would like the ability to print a directory by class as we put a hard copy in each classroom for emergencies. The student information, when printed, only shows one parent phone number and we have many with multiple contact numbers (work, home, cell, etc).

Recording individual letters
Is there a way to keep track of individual letters individually. I find it valuable to know that I have presented, for instance "a", to a child 10 times and that they still do not know it.

Select multiple children not adjacent in grid view
I love the feature where you can quickly select several children for the same lesson in the grid view. Often, though, I don't give a small group presentation to children who are in a row in the records. It would be great to be able to hold down the shift/command key and then select the multiple children I need, and then mark whether it was a presentation or practice, etc.
8 votesIt is now possible to rearrange children by dragging their names. So the idea is to drag the children you want to mark so they are next to each other, then mark them, then drag another configuration together. The hope is that this makes it easy to serve groups but also allows groups to be fairly fluid.

Archiving students
Being able to not only unassign the student from a classroom but archive their profile and information.
7 votesHello! This is possible today. To do this, go to the child’s profile and remove the current session under “Sessions”, by clicking the “X”. The child will no longer show up in your school roster, lesson planning and record keeping pages. However, you will always be able to find their records by searching fro their name in the search bar in the upper right hand corner of the screen. You can let me know if you have any questions about how to do that by emailing info@transparentclassroom.com. Thanks!

Add Administrative Tracking Options on each Child's Page
It would be nice to add customized buttons such as Lunch, Emergency Card, Medical Form, etc. to track if a child has submitted all the appropriate forms to the office. It would make the Admin part of Transparent Classroom so much easier and would require a separate program to track the information.
7 votesI think this is done for the fields that we support, like emergency contacts, allergies, etc. For a quick look at what forms are outstanding, I suggest going to [Children] > [Forms]

Progress page changes
On the progress page I think it would be nice if some sort of key was displayed on the page itself. I know there is a "key" link which brings up a popup but it's not completely obvious. Keep the popup link, as it can provide longer descriptions, but put something like "I - Introduced, N - Needs more" etc at the top of the page (maybe under "Child's Progress."
In the key, the order should maybe be in order of progression rather than alphabetical?
It would be nice if the sections on the page could be collapsed and expanded…

Give us ways to enter that we are giving a re-presentation (a repeated lesson)
or a memory game or following exercise or a ..... We need some way to record miscellaneous observations that can be retrieved later for parent-teacher conference notes.
6 votesWe have a feature coming that will let you save observations + pictures in a child’s “portfolio”. We now have portfolios! So anything that you want to come up at conference report time, just star it after you write it. You can go to the child’s portfolio to see what those notes were before filling out conference reports.

Floating Save Button
It would be nice if there was a floating 'save' button in the progress + plan page as we are scrolling entering lessons given.

reminder or floating save button on conference form
We have often put a lot of work into a conference form and inadvertently lost it when switching screens to check information on a child from another part of transparent classroom.
The reminder to save or floating save button is very helpful in the other parts of the program. It would be a lifesaver in the conference form.
6 votesThis is done. There is a reminder to save on conference reports now.

Bring back a couple features
I noticed that a few things have changed when I was adding notes in the activity section today (2/6/17). One, misspelled words use to be underlined in red and now they are not. Second, when typing lesson names several possibilities use to auto populate but now the search feature is not as intuitive. For example, I typed clock and nothing came up but I was sure that lesson was apart of our Lesson tab, when I looked up the lesson I realized it was entitled "the clock". So I had to type the lesson name exactly like that to get…

list birthdates under age
It would be great to have fast access to birthdates when you click on a child's profile. I suggest listing them directly under the age.

Text contrast
Hi. The light blue which seems to be the default text color has a low level of contrast to the white background, and is difficult for me to read. It would be very helpful it the text color were darker and of sharper contrast.
