  2. When parents let us know they are going on vacation or a child is out sick for multiple days in a row it would be nice to be able to mark them "s" or "v" for multiple days rather then having to go into each day under attendance to mark them out.

  3. We find sorting the children by age really useful. However as soon as you click onto another tab, the next time you go back to children it has returned to the default order.

    It would be great if there was a setting that keeps children sorted by age.

  4. I would love to be able to record when a lesson is reintroduced and to be able to see the dates of the original and the reintroduced lesson. This would be great for children who may need a lot of review, or even groups of children who are seeing a lesson for a second time as an older child (common in elementary).

    I know administrators can change flag labels across the school (this could be simpler modification), but my school is primarily 0-6, where this type of label is not wanted as an option for the whole school.

  5. In the 'Home' view, there is the 'Pages' section. I'd like to create separate pages for the different age groups, i.e. separate pages for primary, elementary and secondary. Is there a way to make those pages visible only to the parents who need them, e.g. the primary page visible to the primary kids' parents?

  6. A feature I feel would save a BUNCH of time would be the ability to tag a whole group of photos in one go. For example, let's say there's a concert, trip or picnic that all the children are involved in and there's 80 photos of this event. At the moment we have to tag each photo one by one with @AllChildren to share the photos with all parents.

    My suggestion is to be able to highlight all (or selected) photos and type the @AllChildren tag once, after which it is applied to all highlighted photos. Not sure how easy/difficult…

  8. When the normal end of day hits the remaining children are in aftercare (some are scheduled some are as needed). It would be nice to have the attendance option to show students still signed in (instead of by classroom) so that the aftercare teacher can easily pull up the record for the parent to sign out.

  9. Add an inquiry form for prospective parents who are interested in more information or to schedule a tour, but are not necessarily ready to fill out an application. That way we can better track conversion rates through TC. Once the application is submitted, it can be merged with the inquiry rather than having to keep track of inquiries on a separate spreadsheet or program.

  10. We would really appreciate the ability to send emails out to the entire parent population at once, rather than in batches. The system seems to be limited in the number of emails it can manage at a time.

  11. If you could add a feature to track when children's health forms are expiring and send an automatic notification to parents a month prior to expiration and also a week prior. It would also be helpful to have a way to view all children's health form expiration dates on one page for ease of access.

  12. I would like to have the feature where you can see the entire school's immunization status in order to run a state report. It would also be helpful if the report could be downloaded. One of the state requirements asks us how many of each immunization is outstanding, so getting a quick total of missing MMR, etc. would also be great.

  13. Add a parent e-signature feature to Conference Reports. This way parents have to confirm they received a conference or incident report. It is also easier for teachers to input information specifically for an incident report without the parent being able to edit in (as they would in a form).

  14. I would like to be able to name each bottle for the daily tracking (e.g. Bottle #1, Bottle #2, etc.) and be able to record how many ounces were consumed. That way, we can keep track of which bottle was offered, how many times it was offered, and how much was consumed at each offering. This feature is important for a Nido in the state of Minnesota because licensing requires that we expire bottles after one hour. We want to be able to offer the bottle at least two times within the hour. This means we also need to have…

  16. Create Curriculum in Lessons and then dedicate where curriculum should able to be viewed. For example I use Saxon math for Upper El and Adolescent. Currently I have to create the same book in two classes and do so from scratch. It would be nice to build it once and then replicate it in another class.

  17. When writing a Progress Report or trying to read the observation I wrote about a student activity, it is difficult to find those observations easily. I have to go to the child activities and read all the lessons observations to find the ones related to an area and/or specific lesson. I like having that information to write a narrative or to have in mind what the child struggled with during the lesson. It would be so helpful if there is a way to pull all the observations we do for each lesson, and area.

  18. We are required to report number of children Complete, Conditional, Out of Compliance or Exempt by November 1 each year with WA DOH.
    I have just started putting our vaccination records into TC after using Childcare Manager for many years. How can I print out the report in a useful manner? How can I select EXEMPT for any of the vaccines?
    Since entering all the dates is a long process I want to use just one database to manage the info. And can parents update these records?
    Do I need to create a report that parents can use to enter…

  20. Many thanks for the updates to forms. We use an incident report and this is signed by the lead teacher, Director of Education and parents. It would be useful to have fields that only the staff/admin can view so we can add other children's names if the incident involved more than one child. This would also be useful in other forms and areas of the program.
