  1. Once we've published conference reports online, it is not easy for parents to get a copy (specifically we can't give them instructions to do this since every browser would do it differently). It would be great to have a print or download or save button to make this easier for parents

  2. My assistant is typically the one to tag uploaded photos each day. She marks the activity “private” so that I can review the entry before making it viewable by parents. Currently it is incredibly time consuming to go back through and click each photo, click edit, uncheck the “private” box, and press save. It would be so helpful to be able to accomplish the same thing with a single click and with photos all shown in a row.

  3. As Transparent Classroom is not a one-stop platform to manage the administrative task load of running a school, opening the software up to integrate with apps like project management tools (Asana, etc..) or integrations like Zapier would make overall management much easier and workflow more organized! Thanks!

  8. If a student attends beforecare, they would be signed in by their parent. Instead of having to sign out of beforecare and then sign in to their regular classroom, the attendance would carry over from classroom to classroom. Thus, a student would show up as present in beforecare, their regular classroom, aftercare if applicable, and then be signed out at the end of the day by their parent.

  9. Hello!
I suggest including the ability to add line breaks in the observation/presentation section. I use this as a weekly "blog' for parents and it is difficult to make look professional without the use of line breaks.
    Thanks for considering my idea!

  11. It would be great to have an option to write and post weekly newsletters about goings on in the classroom. Currently, if the information is added to the Observations/Activity section, any formatting, such as bulleting, is posted as one big paragraph. I would like to be able to have options to change text, adjust space between paragraphs, etc. We would like to be able to use TC for all of communication and parent education needs.

  12. As we already have language option for web page, we should have same option on app. I believe parents would use the cellphone app more often. it will be more convenient.

  13. Hi!
I'm wondering if there is a function already where guides can track students continual practice of a concept/ material. For instance, having a tally every time the guide clicks 'practiced'.

Also, are there recommendations for how interventionists can input what they are working on with students?

  17. As an administrator, it is helpful to look at the lesson plans in the weekly planning section to see which lessons have been given and then which have been planned coming up. As it works now, there is no way for me to tell what the actual changes are from week to week. For example, if a teacher has made no changes to lesson plans in a month, it would still appear as if recent lessons were delivered and planned. I suggest we add a feature admins could click on which would highlight which lessons were new in the planned…

  18. As a school, we have developed benchmark targets for each each grade by marking period. For example, our first years have 4 math benchmarks throughout the year, one for each marking period. Teachers enter data (introduced, practicing, etc) for each child, but there is no easy way for us to look at how many of our first year students are meeting the benchmark at the end of each marking period. We can look at the data in progress and plan, however that is organized by class and since our classes are multi-age that is not helpful.
    Thanks!

  19. I would love to be able to remove old forms from a parents' view without deleting them. I'm trying to avoid confusing them and clogging up the records they see with things they don't need (old forms) but things we need a history of (the same old forms).

Or if parents could still see the old forms, but they could somehow be labeled/grouped as being from a particular school year (or summer) that would be helpful.

  20. As a public school it would be great to create a daily/weekly lesson plan where we can input/add other areas/subjects we plan along with the Montessori lessons. We currently use transparent classroom to plan and record Montessori lessons but have to use another form to create/submit lesson plans for (Guided Reading)
