delete multiple parents
Under parent directory, I would like to be able to select multiple parents and delete the selected parents. The only option I currently see is to email the selected parents
1 voteWe can now select multiple parents and “mark inactive”. I don’t make it too easy to actually delete parents, but marking them inactive makes lots of sense.

Left sidebar icon labels
I would expect some sort of hover text or labels or something to indicate what the icons on the left hand sidebar represent. It's not very obvious from the icons themselves (they've also changed since the last time I looked at transparentclassroom which doesn't help - granted it's been a long time since I've looked).
3 voteswe tweaked a couple things on the left hand labels. how is it working for you now?

Allow users to change student order on lesson plans
I'd like to be able to change the order of students names/lessons on lesson plans. Currently, the order is by age. Most of my students attend part time, which means on Th/Fr I have MTW students showing on my class plans. With about 27 students total, it would make referring to class plans a simpler task if I could print out two sets. One for my MTW group, and one for my Th/Fr group. Thanks!

Change how a child's lesson is recorded
I am finding it is much more time consuming to enter in child's presentations given under 'child progress' with the new color-coded box that comes up. It was much quicker to click until the right color came up.
1 voteWe changed it back…kind of. You can go back and forth between modes by clicking “progress” or “plan” at the top of the page. And you can still right click on press down to get the menu. And you can still drag to select multiple.
How does it feel now?

Planned lessons be marked unplanned after given
I assumed that after a planned lesson has been presented, and marked as such, that it would automatically be seen as unplanned. Would that change be possible?

Pictures and posts move with a child when they move to a new classroom
We have children that move up to different classrooms when they get old enough. After moving their picture to the new classroom, all of the previous pictures and posts tagged to them, disappear. I was wondering if there was an easy solution to this, just so we can track their development from the time they are babies till they are 6 years old. Thank You!!
1 voteThis should “just work”. To see previous lessons and history, go to the child’s page. You should see their previous classroom on the bottom of the left side. Click the previous classroom, and you should see all activity/lessons/pictures associated with that classroom.
Does that make sense? Does it address your concern?

just a glitch
Do you know that this message quotes here appears whenever we upload a photo from the camera, not via the app? The photo is always there afterwards, but this is what it says:
"An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. Please try again in a few moments.
If you are the application owner, check your logs for details."
1 voteWe are changing how we do uploads to address this. It should now be quite fast to upload, but will take a few minutes to process the pictures before they show up in the activity page.
Let me know how it works!

combine child progress and lesson plans
We dove in today to the new system. From what you described, we expected that the updating of child progress and lesson plans would be on the same page. Not quite. It is great that we can see the child progress sheet as we do the X's for lessons, but we still have to click over to Child Progress to note other activities and updates. Do you plan to combine both new options: the X's for lessons AND the white/yellow/green/orange boxes, all in the same process? That will be much better! Thank you!
1 voteJude,
Thanks for keeping me honest. Technically, I said “after Tuesday” – which I am barely making. The change is in!

Add SSL/TLS encryption to password change page
I had to reset my password and noticed that the password change page is not protected with SSL/TLS encryption. This is a fundamental security feature that any web-based application/service must have.
1 voteThis is done. The site is now entirely SSL. Let us know if you see anything else around this.

Correct bad links on the pictures page
Looks like current links to pictures on the pictures page has a duplicate .jpg extension/suffix on the link. When I click on the link the website responds that it cannot locate the image. When I copy the link and paste it into a separate browser tab, I see the duplicate .jpg extension. After removing the extra ".jpg" text and force the browser to load the resource, the website serves up the desired image.
1 voteWoops, thanks for letting me know. It should now be fixed, and the download full image link should be easier to see too.

Ability to remove information
Allow guide to completely remove a marking(introduced/mastered/needs more/practiced) placed on 'child progress'
1 voteThis is done. From the child progress page, you’ll need to click on the lesson, click on the “…” (show observations) then delete/chagne the corresponding observations

This is done (at least in the lesson editor).

This is done. The way it works is at the classroom level. On the initial (school) page, click “see all” next to classrooms, then edit the classroom you want to effect. You can change 2 options under “private observations” either the default for your activity feed, or change whether observations you make from the child progress “grid” view are private.

Changing your Notification Choices
Hi, I've been trying to fix my notification preferences and when I go into my account profile and there isn't anything to check or uncheck it says Notifications and then directly below it says External Accounts.
1 voteYou’re right. That is a bug that worked it’s way in there. You should see your notification settings now and be able to change them now. Thanks for the heads up, and continue letting us know as you have other questions / concerns / ideas!

In "Child Progress" please allow the subject to remain the same after one saves their entries.
When I am saving in the child progress section and I save something, say in Biology, after it saves I am sent back to math section. If I still have more entries in another section I have to go back.
1 votemakes sense, should work now

Sign on issue
I'm unable to sign on because I have explorer here at work. Unfortunately I'm unable to get Firefox, Google Chrome, or use Safari because my e-mail is linked to outlook which at this time is only accessible from work. Please advise me on any other options.
Thank you,

Fix pick up/drop off error
When have had a few days where a parent has selected the pick up tab when they mean drop off in the morning. When we have tried to fix the error and sign the child in, it still shows them as picked up.
