  1. I have been asked to inquire if it is possible to change the formatting of printed lessons so that the teachers can include their name and the "week of". Also we would like to know if it is possible to color code lessons by subject area. Thank you for your consideration of these requests and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

  3. Hi there,
    I'd really like a note to all feature in the attendance area. Sometimes swift messages like "please bring extra clothes" or "Remember we're closed on Monday" warrant a note, but not an email. People are email glazed out. I like to email IMPORTANT things. These are just notes, but sometimes to the entire class. THANKS!

In the Activity tab, when entering the scale for a lesson, just like the names and lessons drop down and automatically find the name/lesson you want after typing just a few letters, it would be great if that could be the case when entering the scale as well. Instead of entering "introduced" I could just enter "i" and then click enter. It would make entering the lesson quicker. Just an idea.

  7. Hi All,

    we would really like parents to be able to add a note about their child from their account in the morning, because we don't have that feature we had to create an email for each classroom so that parents can write to us.

  8. I've noticed that when I use the @allchildren option, it lists the children but there are no commas. In order to make my sentence using each child's name grammatically correct (as teachers should do, of course!), I go back through and add commas manually... I'd love to save time and skip that step! Please add the commas when providing the list of children.

  9. It would be great if prospective parents can create an account and schedule a tour through TransparentClassroom. If we can embed a form on our website like we do with the admission application then we can keep better track of prospective families. We have so many people coming to tour and visit our School, including child visits and it would be easier to track everything in one place and convert them from a prospective parent to an enrolled even before the application is submitted.

  10. When setting up the account you should set up the family members first... Names, Phones, addresses, etc. So that when we're completing forms about emergency contacts or pickup lists we could just click who we want and not have to enter the same personal contact information multiple times.

  12. Right now we have to go back to our photos archive on our server to get the date of a picture we've taken. It would be a great help if the pictures we upload were sorted by the date given by the photo.

  13. I would like an option in the bottle section of daily tracking for infants to include a way to indicate the initial amount of milk that was in the bottle when served. Currently, you can only record how many ounces the baby drank.

  15. You can just insert "photos" menu in the parents' view page. I think this is simple because the menu is already in the system.

    when a parent click his child's name, he could see his own child's photos and activity lessons.... attendance...all the information are sorted by child. In the page, he would not see other children's photos so he can focus on his child. ( you don't have to change this child page)

    ** If the parent click "photos" in the left section, he also see all photos of the class. so he could get more information about the…

  17. Would it be possible to add a "SP" flag for ¨Spanish¨ to the record keeping/lesson planning aspect to Transparent Classroom? Our classroom is bilingual and I'd like to be able to track which lessons I give in Spanish. Adding the option would be much faster than entering in all the lessons in Spanish.

  18. Is there a way of running a report with children in the same order that they appear in the progress & plan section? I have ordered mine into their groups (i.e. days that they attend) for quick referencing during the work cycle but it seems to only have the option of being in alphabet order when I run a lesson reference report.

  20. When using an iPad it would be nice to have a "reading" only mode so that when we scroll down we dont accidentally click on a lesson or change the status of a lesson. I was just trying to look through what all the kids are doing (I'm taking over a class and learning this new system) and any time I scrolled I accidentally clicked on multiple lessons and had to go back and undo a few of them. Thanks for allowing us to give feedback :)
