Quarantine Attendance
We would love a good way to track quarantine timelines. If a student has an exposure at home for example, it would be very nice to mark them out for the appropriate time frame in advance and have a note appear in attendance as to the date of return

Description Section Needed for all Daily Tracking Items
In daily tracking I want to be able to add a description/note for all items. i.e., when we diaper change an infant I want to be able to document a description of the BM (this is a state requirement) and note if we put diaper cream on the child.

Disable the Attendance over Time Feature
I would like to be able to disable the attendance over time feature from parents being able to see it. Our school parents are getting upset when they see that their child has been signed in a minute or two early or signed out the same.

Specialist Teacher Access to Lessons
One of our specialist teachers is also a parent. We do not wish for her to have access to the full lesson records for the students for privacy reasons. I do, however, want to make sure that her lessons will be generated in the conference reports. It would be great if there was a feature that restricts teachers only to classrooms/areas for which they're assigned.

Distance Drop Off: Cancel or Back for Errors During Screening Questions
Distance Drop-Off - Is there a way to incorporate a "Back" or "Cancel" button for families to use in case of accidentally selecting the wrong response on the screening questions?

Distance Drop Off: Save and Submit Later option to Prefill Most of the Screening Questions Ahead of Car Line
- It might be more convenient for many families to have the option to answer the screening questions before arriving at the school each day. Is it possible to add a Save and Submit Later feature that would give families the option to complete and save the screening questions up to the school temperature check ahead of time and then access and answer the final Pass/Fail temp check question later the same day?

Keep Mastered Marked
When something is marked “mastered” it should stay that way, even if the child continues to do that work. If 1 teacher marks it as mastered and the next day the child does it again and that teacher just marks practiced, it changes back. With multiple kids and teachers it is frustrating things don't stay marked mastered.

Lesson Plans not Lesson Lists
Hello Transparent Classroom Team, Anthony from Forestville Montessori School, Sydney Australia.
Once again, loving your product. I'd like to make a feature request which I believe could enhance your product and help teachers stop duplicating lessons and plans across multi-documents and apps.
Currently Transparent Classroom makes the task of generating lessons and organising them into lists such as weekly, by lesson, or by student very easy. The piece that we have identified that is missing is the actual individual lesson. Most schools have a requirement that teachers, especially in elementary plan lessons from their albums. The album provides the basis for the lessons, it is the user manual on how to present lessons but is not the lesson plan. The lesson plan feature in Transparent Classroom builds a lesson list, it is not a lesson plan from a curriculum point of view.
The lesson plan has very specific features:
- Subject Area
- Term or Semester
- Week or Date
- Lesson Title
- Album Reference
- Direct Aim
- Lesson Summary
- Designated Follow-up
- Children
- Additional Notes
- There could be the ability to add or modify these headers as required by schoolWould it be possible to build this feature into Transparent Classroom?
I would see the following scenario happen when a teacher starts the planning process:
- Select the lesson title
- Select the children
- Select the date
- It would also flag the lesson for presentation as it currently does
- It would also build the current Weekly Lesson Plan list
This would then auto populate a page that is the beginning of the detailed lesson plan.
- Teacher then fills out the rest of the document
- Album Reference
- Direct Aim
- Lesson Summary
- Designated Follow-up
Additional Notes
These documents are then saved securely in Transparent Classroom as a ‘one-shop-repository’. There would need to be some sort of nomenclature or file structure so that the plans are easily accessible e.g. Top Level: Anthony’s 9-12 Class 2020 / Next Level: folders for subject areas / The plan is then stored in the appropriate folder with a date stamp eg. 2020-Wk6-28Aug.
The reason I’m proposing this is that we are moving away from paper documentation and storage. Also, we are trying to streamline the process and make it consistent across the school. Some teachers use Word docs, other use spreadsheets, some use OneNote etc. We are looking for ease of use, collaborative documents, easy access and storage.
What do you think? Would love to discuss further as it is getting very frustrating have documents all over the place. Could be a ‘WIN-WIN’ for Transparent Classroom and Schools. The lesson plans would not be available to parents.

Notify Staff of Announcements
When I post an announcement for families I would like to have the teachers for those classrooms also notified to look at the announcement on the Home Page - or else have their email show up with the class.

Maintain visual of lessons completed
What a lesson has been checked off in child boxes leave the line item visible and checked off (maybe in a lighter colour font) to see what has been done that day. This will make seeing quickly which children have had a lesson in a day much easier.
