An Admins Dream: A Waitlist Management System
Fellow Administrative Montessorian here. I'm not sure if anyone suggested a more advanced waitlist management system. As a small, non-profit school, we are not able to outsource and/or afford to pay for services such as Waitlist Plus to manage our extensive list of applicants. Oh how it would free up a majority of my time to dedicate to other key projects if Transparent Classroom offered something similar. I welcome any supportive feedback!

Application Notes
I would like to be able to download application notes and keep them as part of the application - either the printed copy and/or the copy that stays with each accepted child.

Attendance report: "Hours missed" (excused/unexcused) for compulsory schools
We are a compulsory school, and so we are required by law to track the amount of hours the children missed. So, for example, if normal hours are from 8am-12pm and a child comes at 9am and leaves at 11am, the attendance report would show 2h of "hours missed" for that day.
I can use "late dropoff time", but there's no "early pickup time" (and no "early pickup ends" in the kids' normal hours), and, ideally, the two would be added up like in the example above.
Ideally, we could also have a way to track if these hours were…

lessons with standards
I would like to be able to see at a glance, or run a report, that allows me to see if all of my standards are attached to a lesson in a lesson set. I am currently able to see if the standards have a lesson, but I want to see all lessons in that same view to be sure they all have a standard. Thanks!

Additional staff roles
There really needs to be a support staff option that does not have access to student records but can see things like the pictures and all the contact information for the school and can send announcements. We have parent volunteers that perform a wide range of tasks for the school—like social media management and various committees—but giving them teacher or admin status is inappropriate for their role and the parent option doesn’t give them the access they need to perform their tasks.

Representation notation
I use the child boxes as my daily lesson plans. Is there a feature in the works that will show if a lesson is a representation? There are times when a child needs to be represented a lesson and it would be great if it could be noted on the lesson plan that it has been presented before, but is being shown again. As it is, they just go back on the list as a new lesson. Maybe a simple notation? There are times when I have had a student teacher in the classroom or the assistant will show lessons…

Export classroom data to excel or similar format
Dear transparent classroom, I am new to the platform and am loving it! I was interested in exporting classroom data to an excel or similar format. I have looked through the pages and cannot find a way to do it. If it isn’t possible right now I wanted to suggest it as a future feature. If in fact it is posible, could you please let me know? Thank you! Ana Pérez , Madrid Montessori

Block Sign In and Out Instead of Individual Only
Some days in our school, a group of up to 10 or more students will arrive or leave at the same time (e.g. after a field trip) and for efficiency we want an easier way to do a block sign in/out.

Requiring both parents signatures
A way to not allow a single parent to sign both signature features when we have two slots, one for parent 1 and a second for parent 2. Some forms require both parents to sign, if available, but I'm having a single parent fill the forms and sign their name on both signature slots.

Toileting idea
We felt it would be helpful to indicate a loose bowel movement in the toileting section. This would help with charting, as we aren't be able to access daily notes where we might otherwise indicate a loose bowel movement.

Quickest way to tag/portfolio/unlock
What is the shortest number of steps to complete: tagging child, tagging work, add to portfolio, un/lock for parents? My current process tags and locks from one page. Then adds to portfolio and unlocks from another page. I wish I could click the lock to change it without going into edit/3 dots.

Forms for Parents to Self Select
Having a section where parents can self-select forms that we have built in TC. For example, we created an "authorization to give medication" form, but we have to send it to parents. We'd like for parents to be able to self-select this when they know they will be sending a med into school. We have other forms, typically health related, that we'd like for parents to potential initiate (we'd still want the ability to send the form(s) to families, as well).

Merging Infant and Toddler curriculum to cover a broader developmental span.
As a guide in an older infant/younger toddler classroom. I am finding some of the lessons designated for the infant age group to be too elementary for the children I have in my class. It would be helpful if there was a way to merge both the infant and toddler curriculum so that I am not having to physically type each new lesson for my young toddlers who have outgrown the infant lessons.

Only Administrators Can Change Lesson Sets
Only allow administrators to make changes to a lesson set. Right now any teacher can make changes to a lesson set or add lessons (on purpose or on accident), and it can get messy.
