add another option (or two) to the M/F gender identification of children. Or allow it to be left blank at least.
You can now specify “other” and type in whatever you would like. On forms, you can also customize the options you share with your parents.

Yes, thanks Jeremy. Some progressive universities now offer up to 9 options, I hear - it's a new era. 'Other' would be excellent for TC.

We were thinking about adding an "other" options that let you write in whatever you wanted on that. Would that work for you?

I have an identified gender-fluid or gender-neutral child starting, and it's awkward at best to be forced to check M or F. Gender identity and sensitivity to nuances - its time has come.
