Upload photos from Google Photos
I would like an app or way to import pictures from Google Photos.

Cool. For a big batch, we’re going to ask you to download them and then upload them from a computer. For daily, ongoing pictures, we’re working on an Android app that should hopefully make your life much easier. In the meantime, you can try emailing the pictures from your phone to your special classroom email address. That’s what most of our android users do, and it should save you a step.

We use Google photos for archiving all the photos within our school and for your yearbook work so being able to import directly from this location would just make life that much easier and we could avoid uploading then having to download and upload again. Thanks for your consideration.

Both. Since I don't have an iPhone the photos I take in the classroom go to Google photos instead of straight to Transparent Classroom. Then I have to download them and re-upload them to transparent classroom.
