  1. Thank you for replying to my request for help email yesterday.

    We needed to tidy up our Transparent system and there were 8 subjects that we archived. Unfortunately these area titles still come up. It would be good to remove these from our viewing as it is confusing to new staff, looks messy and all the subjects show up in the reports.

  2. Is there a way for inactive forms to be labeled invalid or a pop up saying "this event has past" or "expired" or something like that or for the form not come through?

    I get forms submitted after changing the name and marking it inactive! even from previous years! 🙄

  3. I love having a group to make lesson plans for, and it would be easier to use the groups if the system could automatically only choose children in the group that attend school on that day of the week.

  4. I need to count the attendance of children in special lesson like a yoga class over a period of time. And maybe print a record or export table. You've suggested to create a separate area for the lesson and than use reports by area. This way I can only see four weeks period and can not export the data. Thank you very much for considering!

  6. Track how many times children are tagged. Parents can be concerned if their child is not tagged in enough photos or if one child is tagged in many different photos while another is only tagged in a couple. It would be very helpful to have a report of which children are tagged and how many times so that we can make sure all children are represented equally!

In the conference report design, please add an option to show the Lesson List with Proficiencies that would INCLUDE lessons that the child has had...and has NOT had yet (would just be blank in the proficiency area for all these lessons). I understand this makes a larger report as it would list EVERY lesson, but this type of report would show not only what the child has done now, but where they are going NEXT in every area...which is very meaningful to parents.   8. "Administrator only" role in lesson editing. I know for smaller and/or private schools, it probably would remain that teachers update their own lesson sets individually. But, in a public charter like us, it is very important for school/state accountability that we are all using the exact same lesson sets. Having admin control the lesson editing (or having that an option for each school to select who controls lesson editing) would allow us to say, "we all have the exact same lesson sets" and the outcomes for teaching from these sets should be similar OR you can choose and edit your…

  9. When someone adds a phone number to a form, it would be very helpful to have hyphens automatically entered. Most of our parents have not entered the hyphens and so the phone number is just a long string of numbers.

  10. The menu can be seen by parents so that they can plan ahead if they need to send extra food the child eats for the day, but it also simplifies the teachers' job by simply choosing some, most or all for daily tracking instead of describing the food first.

  11. It would be great if there was a way for admin to communicate with the parents on a community level. If a reminder message was sent out and it appeared on the activity feeds of all of the children. It would also be great if teachers could send a message to their class parents that appear on the activity feeds of the children in their room

It would be great if instead of signing out a child that there was a 'transfer to' button that the teacher could select when signing a child out of their care, but into the care of someone else. For example, Bob is signed in to before school care at 8:15AM, at 8:30AM Bob leaves before school program and joins his class - the teacher clicks 'transfer to' and toggles down to his classroom - he is signed out of before care and signed into his classroom with ONE click!!!!!

  13. Our school runs through 8th grade. These students receive percentage grades. Are you considering adding a gradebook feature for older students? We use the Betsy Coe curriculum for Montessori Middle School (if that gives you any insight).

  14. Our parents are our teacher assistants. When on duty, we'd like them to sign in and out and have limited access to complete reports for injury and what not. We'd like to see an additional category for teacher aid, with limited access but need to be able to add the parents without having them access each other's child confidential information.

  17. We have quite a few families with multiple children. Is there anyway that they can select all of their children and just sign one time when picking up? For example, we have a family with three children and the parents have to go through all of the steps to sign out for each child and it is quite cumbersome. We have many families with multiple children and although it might not seem like a big deal, during their morning rush to get to work this does actually add a lot of stress and frustration for them.

  18. This would allow parents to submit new names with appropriate numbers etc and add to that form without administration needing to go in to TC to make the change for them.

  19. I would like the same view in the planning sections such as the by day, week, child boxes views, but for lessons already given in that particular week rather than just lessons planned.
