We are a compulsory school, and so we are required by law to track the amount of hours the children missed. So, for example, if normal hours are from 8am-12pm and a child comes at 9am and leaves at 11am, the attendance report would show 2h of "hours missed" for that day.

I can use "late dropoff time", but there's no "early pickup time" (and no "early pickup ends" in the kids' normal hours), and, ideally, the two would be added up like in the example above.

Ideally, we could also have a way to track if these hours were "excused" or "unexcused", because again, that's a significant difference by law.
