Reporting absence by parent in distance drop-off procedure
Possibility to add an option in the distance drop-off procedure so that the parent can report the child's absence by herself/himself (maybe with the reason of absence), just as she/he can mark the presence by doing a drop-off.

a way for parents to submit something if child going to be absent, and have the attendance marked for the teacher with the information.

It would be awesome if TC had a way for parents to report absences through the TC portal. Right now we use a different way to track, then we have to enter the absences into TC and also inform the teachers because there is not a way to notify the teacher besides them constantly checking the attendance page.

Can we give access to parents for them to complete forms without it being assigned? . This is so parents can complete an absent form as a notice of further absences ie doc appointments, holidays etc. Currently our Directresses are manually sending the form out to parents at the end of the week if their child was away. I thought it would be easier if we helped parents to get in the habit of going to TC and completing this form themselves and then submitting it via the TC.
