I would like to suggest some improves for communication between school and families in transparent classroom.
It's important parents mark our messages checked, so we can know they know. And it's important they can send us messages using Transparent Classroom, like a chat, asking us or just making comments about our messages.

As a daycare, the daily communication between parents and teachers are very important. The only thing hold us back is there is no direct communicate dialog in this application.

It would be just perfect to have like a contact bubble for communicating through the platform within all the school community instead than using the redirected email. Please add this feature soon in the website and in the app.

The ability for parents to react to photos or messages sent by teachers would be very beneficial and has been mentioned to us many times by families. Families have actually mentioned they prefer other platforms over transparent classroom due to it not having a direct message function.

Good morning, it would be helpful to have a chat or email feature which parents can use to communicate to the teachers/administrator - is this something that TC is working on?

We'd love to have our parents connect with us...or have a space for them to send messages or responses to our notes on the attendance page. At present parents use other mediums such as emails, text, what's app, etc to connect with us. Is this something that TC is working on?

We currently use Brightwheel in addition to Transparent Classroom. In trying to consolidate to just TC, we've discovered some features that are just too bulky to be worth using. The App for BW has the distance check-in so that you don't have to open the website everytime and checking in multiple children is much easier. We've had feedback from parents since trying the TC attendance/distance check-in that they really rely on getting the message via app that their child was checked in/out when they use nannies and friends for transportation. Also, messaging in BW is through the App and an email client is not needed to send texts or emails to parents. If the TC app had these features,

The interactions of response via messaging through the parent view would be a feature we would like to recommend for future states of your product with regards to Daily Tracking.

Would like to request consideration for the ability for messaging/response to messaging within the Daily Tracking from the parent view.

An integrated text messaging service would mean that we could text all parents easily. For example, when a child is absent/late unexplained or important reminders like 'swimming lessons today'.

Services like Twilio can be easily integrated to other platforms like TC.

Requesting a simple way where parents can leave messages to us through the app or the website so we can easily check them in one place.

Looking to have a way for a family to message us, to let us know they have arrived or just a quick message on an absence.

I want to give parents the option to send notes or information that is necessary through transparent to the child's teacher and have it recorded in the child's chart.

For instance, parents now are filling out paper forms to let us know if someone different is picking up, if they will be leaving early for a doctor's appointment, or if there are changes going on at home we need to know about. It would be nice if parents could communicate directly to their child's teachers through this system and teachers could respond to the communication directly in the system as well.

It would be so helpfull, if we had a tool like WhatsApp but within the Schools community where we can send informations to the parents of each classroom that they can read fast and easily; Or where they can easily ask a Question and the other parents can see it so too and know the answer then!

I want to be able to message parents directly with TC instead of having to go through an email. I would love to use this one app as a complete communicative tool instead of need books in addition to TC or emailing on the side

A way to quickly reach parents if there was an emergency at the school.
