We are looking for a feature that will allow parents to message teachers to keep them informed on a daily basis. (The standard in Japan is as such). Please, add this because, as of now, we need to use two apps to accomplish all we need.

-it would be nice to have a messaging feature to directly talk to parents. (Compass has it and it’s great) I also would like it to show who has read the messages. Very handy.

We would love an app for the families to use for signin-out, as well as for us to use for more immediate messaging.

We have been using Transparent Classroom for a while now, and we find it great for Montessori.
However, we would like to add a live chat feature between teachers and parents, either 1-1 or between teachers and a group of parents. This would help us better engage with parents, and also help parents become more interested in Transparent Classroom.
Please help me with that.

I want to see the actual parent involvement or interaction with their child . If a parent asks what are they doing , one can simply see if in fact they have visited the site to stay updated. I want to see the data more precisely.

One idea that we would love to see is a communication feature, a chat option, that allows parents to share with teachers. So not uploading pictures but clarifying questions about upcoming events. Parents may ask the teacher to clarify a time or date or dress for an event, for example. With this feature we could eliminate the use of Class Dojo or WHatsapp.

Something like a quick message and maybe parents can even reply as well.

Hi, I would like to suggest that TC app would have a way to send all the communication we need as a school to the families. For example, teachers would be able to send messages regarding the child, admin would be able to send school communication.
Also, admin would be able to monitor and check the communication teachers and families have with each other to better support.
Perhaps even be able to send forms or surveys

A really helpful feature would be a way to directly message parents through the app. This way parents aren’t receiving communication on different platforms and it is all centralized for convenience. This could be a feature that schools choose to use or can opt out of. I know for my school it would be a great addition.

Direct classroom messaging between the guides and classrooms or individuals in the classroom would be very helpful.

Our school would love a direct message app that we can tie to our emails.
We would also love the ability for parents to "like" or comment on a photo.

In app two way chat communication. Texting through email is not acceptable. We need to text one parent or a group and it needs to be delivered through the app with a notification on the other end. Parents should also be able to text back in app. Parents should not be able to text/in app communicate with other staff in that class only approved individuals.

Our parents would love to be able to connect with us using TC - sending messages. Are there plans to add this feature? And if so, what are the timelines?

It would be great if the app could have a way to communicate with parents, like a chat to send and receive messages with notifications. I mean if the app could have the characteristics of instant communication, activity progress, daily activity, attendance, and the things that already have, then the app would be AWESOME!

Two-way communication and interaction between parents and teachers is necessary (especially in our country). So we suggest an internal messaging feature for parents and teacher.

The ONLY feature you don't have that we need is messaging. We currently have to use another app for this. So we are paying twice for features in the other app, like lesson plans, that we don't use because it isn't Montessori based.
